Chapter 13 - Let's Talk

  Lauren stared at Camila, surprised.

"Camz? What are you doing here?"

"I..I.."

"You can't sneak into my room! You know the rules!"

"Mama J and sister pushed me in!" Camila said, panicked.

Lauren stared at Camila with serious expression. Camila gulped.

Suddenly, Lauren laughed. "Those two are so funny." She said before sitting on the bed.

"I was actually on my way to sneak into your room, I'm glad you're already here..I don't have to climb the windows anymore." She added.

Camila still stood by the door.

"Do you remember? I climbed your windows just to make love to you before your wedding day.." Lauren continued. "I was so..romantic." She added in a dreamy tone.

Camila chuckled and shook her head. "Yeah right."

"Why are you still standing there? Get on the bed with me, killer." Lauren said, patting the bed.

Camila sighed and sat next to her fiance. Lauren wrapped her arms around Camila and rested her head on her shoulder. They continued to hug in silence.

"You're not mad at me anymore?" Camila suddenly asked.

"Why? For killing Edward? Nah.." Lauren replied casually.

"I thought Edward was like a family to you."

"Yeah, but..I just can't get mad at you for too long. Well, I tried but..it failed." Lauren replied.

Camila smiled before turning to her side and plant a soft kiss on Lauren's forehead. Lauren grinned and snuggled closer.

"You never told me that your family loves tree this much." Camila said.

"Well..I don't see anything wrong with it."

"Yeah but..abuelo just ordered me to apologize to other trees for burning Edward. Don't you think that's kinda..weird?"

Lauren stared at Camila, serious. "Well, you should apologize. It's your fault."
