Our cruise was like a floating space boat. I actually really enjoyed the peacefull ride to earth. Earth was a cold void , and the remains of plants, animals and other lifeforms were buried under the thick volcanic like matter. I almost felt bad for us humans but in reality this was all our fault, a once beautiful world demolished from our doing. The world in wich I was brought upon is now no more, Forgotten. dark and unstable at a normal 40°f or lower.
The building I was assighned to work at was not a building at all, I think, it was a really nice observatory with living space and a balcony. I was escorted by the none so lovely Kane "We will be coming back every couple of weeks to check on you, alert us if you find anything viable". Getting to buisness wasn't hard for me I sampled tagged did all kind of things as soon as the guards left me be.
Having never really ate much only usually drinking liquids, and currently drinking strawberry manta. The guards came every now and then to check on me asking if I needed anything. I am actually quite content at the moment but, thanks I say taking a long sip of my drink.
Only a year eh, not so bad it had an indoor pool, pop up screen nano servant, kitchen spacious living area , generous sized bed and a telescope on the balcony. I guess they acctually bothered to remember my major was astrology. My fingers were numb from all the recording and graphing I did today so, I took a shower and decided to go out to the balcony. Stars in the nightime always calmed me since I could remember just looking at them made me feel happy, made my mind wonder off no worries.
*Flashback*
"You see that Z, that star over there is called an Alpha" he said pointing at a big bright star. weally daddy! I said all buck toothed he lifted me on his shoulders so I could see better, looking out over the galaxy gave me a feeling of comfort. It was as if each time I blinked my eyes it got more vast and breathtaking they all looked like they were smiling at me. My father Jack was a great man he pleased everyone and was really smart too. I strived to be just like him idolizing his every move.
My father helped desighn most of the technilogical things we have today. He even discovered a new planet! lifting me from his shoulders he held my tiny torso up and spun me around as if I were a shooting star. I laughed and he laughed harder a deep happy wholehearted laugh. End of flashback.
beginning to drift off my eyes growing heavy before I could even protest I had fallen into a deep sleep. The very last thing I thought was my brother Jason. What happened to him was horrific all I could think about was that loud bang of the death shot, ringing through my mind. As much as I want I know im not goint to get much sleep.
