Looking around the forest waiting for Sabas to come back from wherever he went, I didn't fear being along; after all I had done it for hundreds of years before and I was happy to sit and rest my eyes for a moment. Closing my eyes again I focused my senses. No I wasn't like vampires and had super hearing or anything like that I could sense people though and protect myself before any harm could befall me.
"We have at least a hundred willing to help the cause." Sabas speaks up as he looks down at me.
"Hope their fighters." I stare blankly. "If not I hope they don't fear death."
Sabas took my hand and helped me to stand. I knew this wasn't going to be easy and that we all would have to be captured for the plan to work, however the more lycans we had on our side that could control their phasing the better. After all I wanted the vampires to think they were just capturing other immortals that I might had met through the years that way they wouldn't have a clue they were lycans. Looking to the edge of the forest I saw the group of not only men but women as well walking forward.
"We are ready to leave when you are Sabas." A younger male spoke up.
"Don't forget, this is no time to phase if a vampire tries to capture you then allow them to. Show them no evidence of you being a lycan. Our plan will work much easier that way." Sabas calls out to the group.
They all nod, apparently, they were as crazy as we needed them to be. Taking out my gun I make sure its loaded and ready to go. Hey, I said we were going to get captured not not put up a fight. If we didn't fight they would know something was up.
"Come, the faster the vampires think they captured us the better." Sabas said as we take off.
Seriously how can these lycans run so fast? I was only an immortal and I tried my best to keep up with them but it was literally like trying to keep up with a pack of wolves...well I suppose that makes sense. While Sabas was gathering the army, I had text Selene telling her our situation but I have yet to receive a reply. Sighing as I tried to keep up I felt someone grab my hand and the next thing I knew I was on Sabas's back.
"Hold on tight." He calls out to me.
Not arguing because I knew it was useless I wrapped my arms around him and hid my face in his neck. Running this fast may and or may not give me motion sickness and I wasn't willing to risk throwing up in front of every lycan here. That's when we heard multiple calls being sent out. Alarms more or less. That meant we were close to something that belonged to the vampires and now was the time we would act. Sabas lowered me to the ground and took me in his arms for a long and passionate kiss. It lasted just over a minute before he pulled away and took off into the crowd. Taking out my weapons I began to try my best to kill any vampire that was walking my way.
There were a lot though, more than I had originally thought. These vampires had seemed multiply overnight, like seriously did they hump like rabbits or something? Unloading my weapons on anything and everything that came near me I made sure to use all but one gun up as a just in case measure. Just as my last bullet rang out two others attacked me unaware of my trusty older weapons. Taking the sais I had used for hundreds of years I had no problems pinning one to a tree while the other one tried to bite my sai. Bad idea vampire, turning the sai I thrust it up right through his skull. Ok that was a bite gory but it had to be believable...that was believable.
"Witch! Harlot!" the vampire from the tree called out to me.
"If you are trying to flatter me, it will not work." I replied to him all too aware of the vampire making his way to me and tackling me to the ground.
This is how I decided I would be captured by one vampire I knew just from their fighting style I had been watching as he fought other lycans. I already knew his weak points so if I needed to get away at the last moment I knew exactly how to do it. Pinning my front side to the ground I felt his eyes roaming my body.
"This is the last of them, they all look like humans.'' My captor calls out to someone.
Rolling my eyes because I really couldn't believe he thought all of us were humans. This vampire really was an idiot, good picking on my part then. Pulling me up from the ground I felt him shackle chains to my arms. That didn't surprise me, anyone would do that to their victim. Turning me around I could now face the vampire who seriously looked like he would be better off playing one of the Norse gods. Maybe a mix of Loki and Thor. What I mean is he had Thor's hair but Loki's weird smile.
"Big mistake coming here, now you'll be fed to the men." He spoke confidently.
Maybe this vampire knew I was watching him and he was the one playing me now.
"I highly doubt you would harm one of my creators now would you Hector?" a familiar annoying voice spoke up. Viktor.
"Forgive me Lord Viktor but your creations?" Hector asked as he looked me up and down again.
"Fiona, you have finally returned home, to find your sister perhaps?" Viktor said with grin that would make the devil smile.
I remained silent as with one motion from Viktor I was taken inside the castle. Really, I didn't know what he would plan to do with me but now I was the ultimate distraction and hopefully Selene could get Eve far away now. Walking deep into the castle I find myself being guided into what appears to be something like dungeon. There in the center of the room though is a large wooden post standing with chains hanging on it. I did not like where this was going.
"Chain her up there, we shall deal with her after a long discussion with one of her long-lost siblings." Viktor says as he leaves the room.
The man pushed me forward and then I heard yells and hollers, looking around the dungeon I could see cells and inside of them were the other lycans as well as Sabas who looked mad as hell. Just as he went to push me again I jumped out of his way and the vampire fell all the way to the ground.
"Haven't you ever heard it's not nice to hurt a lady?" I question sarcastically.
That just pissed him off, he jumped right back up and began to fight me but now I put up more of a fight, I was inside so I had no need for him anymore. Trying to grab my hair I decide to repay the favor, grabbing his long blonde hair I pull it down as hard as I can and make him go crashing into the earth. The guy doesn't give up though, dusting himself off he just grins at me.
"I've never fought a true immortal before, it will be a pleasure to kill you." Hector laughs as he readies himself again.
Sighing because I knew this wasn't going to end well I catch sight of the wooden post again and see that a rather large part of it is splintering off. Grinning myself now I take off running to the post with him following right after me. Jumping up I press all my body weight on to the splintered part and it dislodges just in time for me to turn around and stake him right through his shoulder blade. He looks up at me completely surprised and confused.
"You won't die, I can't let that happen yet." I say but I do push him back to the ground.
"Sister, still never turning away from a fight." Another annoyingly familiar voice calls out.
"Aliza, I should have known out of all of this you'd be the most likely to turn evil." I say as I watch her as she circles the room.
"Evil of course not? Can't you see what I have done here? Being able to give first to truly immortal vampire children. No one can ever truly kill them thanks to our blood. Imagine having a child with your intelligence and grace but with Hector's strength and cunning?!" she almost yelled excitedly.
"You mean the man I just took down with technically a branch?" I sigh as I cross my arms.
Rolling her eyes Aliza went to Hector and pulled the stick from his shoulder blade and within minutes he was back up and moving again...damn it. This means they would heal faster than ever now just because my kind had given them the access to complete immortality but not me.
"Hector, be nice to my sister, after all she did prove she could kill you whenever she wanted." Aliza smiled as she patted his back.
Hector looked back over at me and I saw a glimmer in his eye, a glimmer that was very unwelcome.
