FLASHBACK: Lucy, Mira, Cana and Juvia were chatting together until the girls began asking Levy about her growing relationship with Gajeel. "So Levy when are you and Gajeel going to tie the knot?" "HUH!" "You know you and Gajeel, mates for life" WHAT!?" "MARRIAGE LEVY" The girls shouted out making Levy flinch slightly. "WHAT ME AND GAJEEL AREN'T EVEN DATING!" "Sure, uh huh" "WE AREN'T!" Juvia agrees, Gajeel isn't the type to wait, you will have to tell him soon Levy. "Am I the only one to notice that Levy here had said we not I" Mira loudly said to the other girls. Meanwhile Gajeel had just walked through the door when he noticed that Levy was shaking... with rage causing her ass to shake which made Gajeel blush slightly. Levy's ass always made Gajeel mind freeze up, all of a sudden he heard her shout snapping him back to reality. "I JUST ABOUT HAD ENOUGH I TOLD YOU GAJEEL AND I ARE NOT DATING AND I NEVER WILL".  Pain shot through Gajeel's heart at that very moment, but there was more to come. "HE IS A STUPID, STUBBORN, GIGANTIC, HEARTLESS, MONSTER. At that point, Gajeel's heart completely shattered it can't be true can it.

Levy had finished her hurtful rant and Gajeel completely broken hearted and began to walk towards to the girls table and stared Levy down hurt clearly shown in his eyes. Levy at first didn't notice him at first until she looked at the girls who weren't staring at her but at him. Gajeel frowned slightly then walked off towards the job board, when he spotted a full day job he decided to take it after he took the job request do he walked back over to the table revealing the request to Mira who nodded her head. Gajeel made his way to the door and closed it behind him without saying a word. The scene had caught the whole guild's attention but they decided to keep out of it even Natsu and Gray who were present didn't intervene with the awkward scene, "What have I done?" Levy whispered guiltily.

Levy walked to her home Fairy Hills, she was completely soaked and angry. Levy was angry at herself if she just walked away or admitted to her friends that she truly loved him, Gajeel wouldn't have been hurt this way. Gajeel doesn't deserve this once he gets back she will do everything she can to make this right. No matter what it takes.

Meanwhile back at the guild

Don't worry Lucy, I'm pretty sure Gajeel is over it already any second now Gajeel will come through that door to see if Levy is here... any second now... now? Mira gave in and turned around when she heard Laxus call her over for "something important". The doors abruptly opened up by a speeding black cat known as Panther Lily terrified by the sudden thunderstorms outside, but something was amiss. Neither Gajeel nor Levy was in the guild did something happen. Lucy called and waved Lily over once he landed he immediately questioned Lucy on where is Gajeel and Levy. "I'm afraid something happened between Levy and Gajeel. Something you are not going to like at all" And so Lucy told Lily about the events that occurred earlier that rainy day, after she was done Lily shook his head. "Well, this is going to be a problem" "Why is that?" "Today was the day when Gajevy was supposed to become canon" Juvia gasped " Gajeel was planning on asking Levy out?" Lily nodded and sighed his answer. "Yes, I'm afraid so, but how?" The group held their heads in their hands trying to think of an answer, getting them together has become a lot harder.
