Chapter Three: A Little Fun

"This stuff sure is slick." Natsu says in disgust as he tries to wipe away some of the grease from the hot dog fight on the train.

Lucy nods her head in agreement. "It's smells disgusting too." She adds, sniffing a spot on her sleeve.

Erza lifts her arm and sniffs her arm pit, nearly passing out from the stench. "We're not in a presentable state, are we?" She asks looking over the group. "Happy? Fly up and look for somewhere to clean ourselves." Erza demands.

"Hai!" Happy exclaims with a salute. He flies up and scans the area for a few moments. "There's a river just up ahead!" He yells swooping down onto Natsu's head.

"Perfect." Erza says plainly.

"LAST ONE THERE IS A ROTTEN EGG!" Natsu and Gray yell in unison as they trample over Lucy towards the river.

Erza smirks. "Looks like I'll have to show them up again." She says, the smirk replaced by a serious face as she requips into her flight armor. "PREPARE TO LOSE!" She yells as she blasts off past Lucy who just stood up, causing her to spin rapidly.

Lucy dizzily falls to the ground. "Why does everything have to be a competition?!" She complains.

"Don't worry, Lucy! I got you!" Happy yells as he swoops in and picks her up by the back of her shirt.

"Thanks happy!" Lucy exclaims, glad someone was helping her. "MAX SPEED!" She yells as happy carries her into the sky, trying to impersonate Natsu.

Happy gives a huge grunt. "I'm already going as fast as I can. You're heavy!" He says in a strained voice.

"Quit being mean and get a move on, cat!" Lucy yells angrily at Happy's continuous mean comments about her weight.

"We're almost there, Lucy! Prepare for separation in five. Fo-"

"WAIT!? YOU'RE GOING TO DROP ME?!" Lucy screams in panic and starts flailing.

Happy ignores her. "Three. Two. One. GO!" Happy releases Lucy and she lets out a high pitched scream before plunging into the middle of the river.

Lucy stays under the water for a while, shocked that Happy dropped her from so high as well as enjoying the coolness of the water on this unusually warm day in winter. When she emerges, Natsu, Gray, and Erza are having an intense and serious water splashing fight.

"Okay. We've wasted enough time." Erza says, stopping the competition and getting serious. "Time to wash up before we head to our client's estate."

"Alright. I'm ready to get this stuff off me anyways." Gray says as he takes off his shirt.

"You and Natsu go around the river bend." Erza says sternly as she removes her shoes and throws them onto the river bank.

"Why?" Gray asks as he begins lowering his pants.

"Oh. Did you wish to see me naked, Gray?" Erza says seductively as she removes all her clothing in a flash.

"MY EYES!" Cries happy who falls to the ground unconscious.

Gray quickly grabs Natsu's shirt. "let's go!" He yells as he runs around the river bend and out of sight of naked Erza ripping off a panicked Lucy's clothes too.

"Erza really knows how to get people to do what she wants." Gray says to himself as he removes his pants and underwear and throws them on the river bank.

"She probably would have tried to fight us nude if that hadn't worked." Natsu states, clearly mortified at the thought of having to fight a naked Erza.
