I was in bed on break from my tour thinking about how lonely I get in this big house. I've always wanted to have a daughter so why not? I called Toni and asked her to come with me to the home for girls that she knows about.
Juaniece POV
Ugh!! Another day. I drag myself out of the bed to get dressed and do my hygiene.

I heard someone was coming here today to adopt a daughter but most likely that wont be me. I've been here since I was eight years old and haven't been adopted yet. I put my headphones on and played my favorite singer, Janet Jackson. Her songs get me though my days living here.
"Juaniece!" Miss Mary calls and I hop off of my bed and walk downstairs.
"Yes ma'am?" I question.
"Some people would like too see you in the living room." She says and I frown.
"Who?" I ask her.
"Someone who is looking at possibly adopting you. Please come meet her." She says and I nod following behind her. "This is Jauniece. She is 16." She says and I look up and I almost fainted.
"I have to be dreaming." I say lowly. "Am I really standing in front of the Janet Jackson right now?" I ask Miss Mary and she nods.
"Can you have a seat sweetie?" Janet asks and I nod before sitting across from her. "How long have you been here? If you don't mind me asking?" Janet asks me.
"Since I was eight years old. I've kind of gotten used to being here." I shrug.
"What type of things do you like?" She asks me.
"Well I like too read, sing, dance, and draw." I smile.
"Who's your favorite singer?" She asks me.
"If I am being honest, you are." I say looking up at her.
"Really?" She asks with a shocked expression and I nod. She asks me a plethora of other questions and then looks at Miss Mary. "I want to adopt her." She says and my eyes grow.
"Are you serious?" I ask her and she nods.
"You're like a mini me. You like the things I like and you seem very independent." She says.
"Okay Ms. Jackson. Here are the papers you needs to sign." Miss Mary says giving her a packet.
"Go get your things." Janet says and I run up to my now old room. I pack all of my stuff and then run downstairs.
Janet POV
Seeing her so happy to be adopted made my heart melt. It made me feel like I was giving someone a new take on life.
"Alright honey let's go." I say holding my hand out. She grabs my hand and we walk out hand in hand. I finally have someone I can spoil and love on.
"Where are we going first?" Toni asks as we get in the car.
"To- Toni Braxton." Juaniece says in amazement. "I'm really in a car with Janet Jackson and Toni Braxton... this has to be a prank." She says with a huge smile.
"No it's really me" toni says "Wow"Juaniece says.
Janet POV While driving I look over and see Juaniece sleeping. I couldn't help but notice her features her lips soft and plump,her long eyelashes,the way her eyes lit up when I wanted too take her home. We pulled up too the house and Joey was there too get our stuff.
"This is her?" Joey asked
"Yeah this is Juaniece Desiree Jackson" I said
"Okay Jan let me know how it turns out" Toni said
"Okay see you later tone" I said Joey carried her inside and laid her on my bed we'll have too decorate her's tomorrow. I sit on the other side and watch her snuggle into the blanket more. She so beautiful wait Janet stop it it's your adopted daughter you can't look at her like that. I shake my thoughts off and decided too get under the covers too. I feel her snuggle into me and I drift off.
