SNEAK PEEK!!!!!

(Setting: Arizona to Colardo, on the road, in the SUV,  Nate & Georgia in the front seat, Jacob & Claudia in the middle seats, and finally Reem and AP (Oliver) in the back seats. It's 64 degrees outside, inside it's a steady 55 degrees. The clock shows that it's 10:52. Just to fill you guys in a little bit so you get a sense of what is going on, they are taking part in a field trip to Colorado, Arizona.)

Don't you just hate it when you feel really tired and your eyelids are extremely heavy except every time you on the verge of falling into a deep slumber something pops up in your head preventing you to just give in and get some rest? Well, yeah that's what was happening to me right now, even with the comfort of all the cozy-ness that surrounded me including my warm sweatshirt, loose joggers, fluffy socks, insanely soft throw blanket, a few small pillows, and not to mention the insanely gorgeous, awkward being sitting to the left of me.

'I did not just call him gorgeous.' I think to myself as I imitate a gag.

I had my headphones in listening to the soft sound of music that flowed through my head: Fly Down- Stephen, it was one of my favorite songs and it was calming to me, and yet I still couldn't do it: SLEEP.

I glanced over at Oliver who was still wide awake, admiring the view of the wooded area through his thick-rimmed glasses with a look of pure fascination on his face. Does this kid ever sleep, dang?

I decided to try and get some sleep for the 16th time. The 4 in front of us were surprisingly quiet, for once in their lives. This time when my eyes shut they stayed closed. I tried as hard as I could to keep them shut. The leather behind my back became hard to support myself up on unconsciously. Falling into a deep doze, I start to slide to my left to seek a refuge on the cup holder that I forgot I put up. Not finding what I was looking for, I consequently started to fall to the left side uncontrollably, due to the fact that Georgia cannot be trusted into telling us when there is a speed bump ahead. Out of instinct, I push my hand out of the blanket to catch myself. After what feels like 2 seconds of being jostled around and almost falling completely out of my chair, my hands find a place to catch me from face planting.

'Thank God' With my eyes still closed, I pull out my earbuds and sense what feels like a thick fabric under my palms. And that's when I turn into a smart person and remember: Oh wait, I wasn't the only one sitting back here!

Oliver.

"Sorry about that guys, I should have told you there was a bump in the road coming up." Georgia apologizes because that was all her fault and none of mine for not wearing a seatbelt because I want to be free of all voluntary strangling.

"UGH" I hear a voice groan above me.

I immediately open my eyes, regretting it the instant I did. My head was dangerously close to Oliver's lower abdomen and waist area. My left hand was rested on his right inner thigh, my right, the exact place where I dreaded it to be, right above his involuntarily growing 'friend.' I immediately shot my hands back to my sides.

"Oh, fudge," I say in a whisper. 'It's not that big of a deal,' I try to reason and convince myself because really it wasn't. Right?

Oliver's jaw ticked as he took a sharp intake of breath.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to- I was just falling- and my hands- well I didn't inte-" I muttered, stuttering every other word in panic.

"Stop- the- car!" Jackson said loud enough for Georgia to hear: she was the one driving, so it made sense. Everyone's heads quickly turned to Oliver and I, but the car had come to no stop.

"Why? Is this because of that speed bump, okay that's not fair I said I was sorry. We are close to the next truck stop it'll just be a few-" Georgia started.

"PLEASE!! Just stop the car!" Oliver shouted. The car eventually slowed to a complete stop on the side of the road. This was my fault, all my fault. He probably feels violated or seduced, and trust me I had no intention of that unspeakable deed. Oliver quickly opened the door and jumped out. Literally just jumped and ran like I was a monster. I'm not. Right?

"Oliver!" we all shouted out in unison as he began sprinting to the wooded area. Was he insane? Without taking much time to think, I hurried out of the car and ran after him. I have to fix this or we will be late getting to the hiking convention in the morning.

There was no chance I could catch up to him due to my delay. As I swerved around trees and fallen logs Oliver slowed his pace giving me time to catch up. At this point, I had no idea where we were. He suddenly stopped in an open area buried deep in the forest of unknowing-ness, literally and theoretically. Oliver falls to his knees, his back turned to me.

"Oliver?" I whispered, generally worried but just because we need t get back soon so we aren't late.

Oliver takes a deep breath "I'm-I'm fine Reem." He says this as if he is irritated or frustrated but not with me.

"I've never been-I've just never-" He stumbles over every syllable that leaves those perfect lips of his, I mean face of his. 'would you like to get yourself together Reem.'

"been touched like that before." he murmurs barely wanting me to hear, almost sounding defeated.

"I'm sorry, it was truly an accident but it's definitely not this big a deal and this is not the best time to be a drama queen so...," I assert putting a 'supporting' hand on his shoulder. Oliver held his eyes on my hands like it was something foreign. Until he looked up into my golden hazel green eyes. There was an unforgettable curtain of darkness hiding the beauty of his original sea-green shade. I've read enough 'sexy books' to know what that means, and if I was correct both me and Oliver were in a lot of trouble.

He let out a muffled whine. "I can't, I just can't."

And that when I knew kids, that's when I knew I was toast. Burnt to a crisp.

Oliver slid his big hand down into the front of his sweatpants, Now that is what I like to call a sign to get the heck out of there. I could see from the motions of his hand through his pants, that he had begun stroking himself.

I took several steps backward.

For once in my life, I had been COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS.
