The future of Girl Meets World

Introduction

Daniel's POV 

I woke up and got ready. I pulled on some jogging shorts before grabbing my iPod from its charging port and my earphones. 

I walked out into the living room. I lived in a two story house with my parents and siblings.

My dad was sitting at the table reading the sports illustrated part of the newspaper. 

"Morning, Dad," I say. 

"Morning. Remember that you're dropping Isabella and Elizabeth off today," he said. 

"Sure," I said. 

I ran out of the house and started running around the block. I bumped into a girl but couldn't see her face. 

"Hey, watch where you're going," she says. Technically, she was the one that wasn't looking and hit my shoulder. But respect. 

"I'm sorry. I should have been watching where I was going," I say before jogging away. 

I made it into my apartment and took my shoes off at the door putting them on the shoe rack. 

I took a shower before changing into a button up shirt with a jacket and black jeans. 

"Sweetheart, you hungry," my mom asks when I come out. 

"No, thanks, mom. We should really get going," I say and my sister gives me a kiss on my cheek before going to get her backpack. 

"Be back right after school. I want to talk to you about something," my dad says and I say the best answer ever,"Okay." 

I went downstairs to the parking and started the car. My sister sat in the front and my brother in the back. I stopped by Aunt Riley and Uncle Farkle's house. 

Isabella goes in and less than two minutes later they are both in the car. 

I drop Isabella and Elizabeth off at the middle school but they both gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving. 

I drove to the elementary school and stopped the car. 

"Can I have $10," he says. 

"Why. You just got your allowance," I say and he says,"Please. Please. I'll pay you back. I swear." 

"Fine, just don't worry about paying me back. I'm your big brother," I say and take a 10 dollar bill out of my wallet and give it to him. 

He hugs me and gets out of the car running to his friends. 

I smile to myself and put the car in drive. I park in the parking lot of my high school and grab my backpack before going in. 

I see Joshua by my locker and trust me when I say that it will never not be weird that my uncle is my best friend. 

"What's up, man. Why are you late," he says and I open my locker before answering," Had to drop off my siblings." 

"You coming over for Christmas," he says and I laugh. 

"Do I have a choice? Mom and Dad would actually kill me if I tried to bounce. That and I have nowhere to be," I say walking into Grandpa's class. 

We take our seats which are in the second row. Infront of Josh sits his girlfriend and the seat infront of me is empty. 

"You know, I will never get used to the fact that even at school someone from our families can keep an eye on us," Josh says leaning over to talk to me. 

"I know. Remember that time you punched Austin. Grandpa Shawn knew before anyone of us," I said to him. 

"I got in so much trouble that day. But it was worth it to see that bully get put in his place," he said and I leaned back in my chair. 

"Okay , class," Grandpa says before someone walks through the door. 

"This is Elena She's new. Don't mess up, Matthews," the principal says before walking out. 

"Well, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself," Grandpa says sitting on the edge of his desk. 

"Nothing to really tell," she says shrugging her shoulders and I noticed how her brunette locks of hair just fell so easily onto her shoulders like they didn't have a care in the world. 

"Yeah, okay. Well, you can sit in the front. Next to Eliza," Grandpa says. 

Eliza raises her hand and Elena sits next to her. 

"I know we're just going to be the best of friends," Eliza says while holding a hand out for Eliza to shake. 

"Why not," she says before shaking Eliza's hands. 

"I'm Joshua but most people call me Josh. I'm Eli's boyfriend," Josh says with a warm smile. 

"This is my bro, Daniel," he says pointing to me. 

"Huckleberry," she says. 

"I'm sorry, what," I ask slightly leaning forward. 

"You're new nickname," she says turning around. 

"I don't understand what that means," I say leaning forward to whisper it in her ear. 

"I'll tell you later. Don't want to get in trouble," she says and I see Grandpa staring at us while talking. 

I sit back and listen to the rest of his lecture about life. 

The bell rings and I get up to leave before Grandpa says,"Daniel, can you stay behind. I'd like to talk to you for a minute." 

"You're so dead," Josh whispers to me before leaving. 

I sit down in my chair and Grandpa stands infront of me. He has that look on his face that tells me I'm in for quite a lecture.
