One Friday morning I was

riding to school on the bus. It

was dense with fog, and it was

really dangerous the drive in, I

knew that things felt odd. It

almost felt completely peaceful,

at least that's what I thought.

The bus was going slower and

slower, until it came to a

complete stop.

I saw a shadowy figure walking

in the fog, I couldn't tell what is

was though. As it came closer I

saw one sharp object in each

hand, then that's when I heard

the screeching. The door was

being pried open by two sharp

knives, I quickly went under the

seat, I knew I could hide there.

While everyone was panicking in

fear, I was smart and hidden,

then that's when I heard the

screaming of all the people.

Most of them tried to escape, but

they were to late; most of their

blood was splattered on the

floor. This is how I knew I needed

to escape, I saw the figure sit

down on a few seats behind me, it

was tying its shoe, it was my

chance.

I quickly bolted for the exit and

made it out, that was my

mistake.

As I made it outside it was thick

with so much fog I felt like I was

going to suffocate.

I looked around the area for a

place to run, everything was

pure white like a doves feather.

It was blinding to look at, I

snapped back to reality and I

knew I had no time, so I sprinted

straight forward not knowing

my surroundings. I heard

footsteps quickly following me

and a faint ticking noise, like the

noise you would hear from a

pocket watch. Tick tick tick, was

the noise that I heard, slow

ticking, very slow ticking, that

sound was so very hypnotizing.

I saw a bunch of tall shadows

ahead of me, they were trees. A

forest, I can escape this creature!

I ran will all my might into the

cold, dark, damp forest as fast as

I could, and maybe just maybe I

can escape.
