The cool summer breeze swept through the small gap in the window. My eyes fluttered open and was greeted by the bright beams of sun.

"Anya!" A loud voice screamed from down stairs. My feet hit the cold floor and dragged my body out of bed. Without a second thought I raced downstairs.

"Breakfast." Rick grumbled as he sat down at the head of the table. If a stranger saw us now they would think we were one big happy family. All eating our breakfast together like most families do. But we are not one big happy family.

As soon as I was allowed to leave the table I ran. I went straight to the pool outside. Taking a seat at the edge of the pool I dipped my feet in, enjoying the cool feeling hitting against my skin.

A hard push on my back forced my body to fall in to the icy water. As my head resurfaced I took a big breath in, letting the air fill my lungs. A hand shoved my head back in to the water. My eyes drooped close and my breathing stopped.

Air filled my lungs as the water left, I kept my eyes shut. Is someone nudging my arm?

"Open your eyes Anya!" I recognised that voice anywhere.

"But I don't want to look at your face Milo." Snickering could be heard from somewhere in the room. Where am I anyway?

Finally I opened my eyes and was greeted by Milo leaning over my body, wearing his usual smirk.

Before I could say something his lips landed on mine. I let out a quiet moan as I felt his tongue explore my mouth.

"I'm still here you know." Ted's voice echoed through the cavernous basement. Milo got off me and glared in Ted's direction.

"Then leave." I slapped the back of Milos head for being rude.

"Change of topic! Milo I want to watch your video."

"Go sit in front of the white cloth. Ted go get the others." His voice had gone from playful to serious. I couldn't help but let out a little giggle.

Ted came back out the darkness with the other children. They all sat around me, finding places where they could watch Milos video.

Once the music started soon followed by the video appearing on the white tarp Milo sat by my side, linking our fingers.

The video started off with a church service, the same church next to the house. The scene changed to people nailed to the floor, Jesus Christ. No seriously, Jesus Christ. Rats were placed on their stomach and a bowl kept them in place. A hot price of coal was placed on top of the bowl, heating it. The muffled screams of his family soon made me realise that the rats were eating through their stomachs to escape. As soon as one rat escaped the heat I had to turn my head away. The music soon stopped indicating it was over.

"Did you like it?"

"It was gruesome."

"At least you are honest."

"I want to kill my family now."
