"Sarah! Come on! Let's go!" Chloe called to me on the other side of the road.

"Okay, okay I'm coming!" I replied while fixing my things.

I was about to cross the road when I heard a loud bang on the across. I looked up and saw Chloe on the ground swimming in her own blood.

"Oh my gosh, Chloe! Chloe wake up wake up! Please wake up!" I cried while shaking her body.
"Please, Chloe! You can't die please! Please wake up!" I begged.

I was starting to feel nauseous when I saw an ambulance coming. I closed my eyes and fell to the ground.

I woke up in my bed sweating so much.

I was breathing so heavily and I  realized oh, it was just a dream.

It was just a dream. I told myself.

Yet, she was already dead. My one and only bestfriend. I also considered her as my sister. We lived under the same roof for 3 years.

It has been 2 months already since her death.

I didn't even wanted to attend her funeral because I can't stand looking at her inside a coffin. She was my one and only bestfriend slash sister. My only shoulder  to cry on whenever I feel sad. Now she's gone. At first, I wanted to go with her. But I was consoled by someone also close to me. Adam, which just discovered recently, was my childhood friend, a very close friend who moved to California after his grandpa died. He was so very close with his grandpa, and just like me, he was also broken and devastated after his death.

I opened my cellphone to check the time to see that it was only six in the morning. I decided to take a shower and clean myself.

Today's Monday aaaand it's school day again. Ugh. Another hell week to come.

I cooked bacon and pancakes for my breakfast which turned out pretty well. I'm not a fan of cooking. Chloe used to cook for me everyday. But now that she's gone, I'm all by myself now.

If you're wondering where my parents are, well mom abandoned me and left me in the care of Chloe's family. They were actually really really nice and they treated me as their daughter too. My dad, well he married off with some other woman and got children. My mom, well honestly, and don't know where she is now. I don't even bother wondering where they are know. I bet they're living happily with they new families.

Well, now I'm all alone living in this not-so-tiny-house but is actually good for four people to live in.

I check the time on my phone which reads 6:40. Omo I gotta get going now it's almost seven!

I finished my breakfast and threw my dishes to the sink because I'm gonna be late now! I can't stand one more day at the detention room for being late. I went outside and ran towards the direction of our school. Besides, our school is just a few kilometers from our house.

I mumble threw my delicious pancakes while I run. Hmm these are really yummy I don't even know how I was able to cook it without burning it. I usually burn foods whenever my cook things. Yeah. That's how I'm bad at cooking.

Finally I arrived at our school in just a couple of minutes. Thank God I'm still not late.

I went inside and put the books I didn't need for our first and second period in my locker. Which is Math and Chemistry. The  two subjects I hate the most of. I mean, why do they have to put those two subjects first on my freaking schedule?! Well thanks to it I struggle in my other subjects because these two have so much to do and are due on the next day the teacher gives us.

The bell rang as I enetered our room. I see some students seating on their tables some were throwing pieces of paper to the guy on the corner with glasses. My guts says "you have to help him. you can't just watch" but I don't want to get into a fight with those freaking guys there I mean, they're a bunch of super scary dudes with huge muscles. They can take me down in a few seconds.

I averted my attention from them to the note that was written on the board reminding us our assignment.

Crap I forgot my homework! Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap. No! This can't be! This is the first freaking time I pass nothing at all to our teacher. Other students have been labeled me as the teacher's pet because all of the teachers here love me. But that can't be an excuse from not making my homework.

No wait. Relax, Sarah. You just left it at home. You made each and every assignment given to you on Friday. Maybe Professor Black can  pass me on this one.

"Okay class. Our lesson for today Adolf Hitler," and the lesson goes on.

It has already been 40 minutes and now I'm done answering my quiz. I can even see my seatmate peeking through my paper which is covered by my hands. Nu-uh girl that's your fault for not listening earlier. Hahaha.

But I really hope Professor Black forgets about the assignment he gave us last Friday. Jebal~

"Okay class dismissed. No assignments for today because I'm on a hurry. Bye class."

As soon as Professor Black's words escaped his mouth I was super excited that I shouted.

"Yes!" I was looking like a child who just got her first barbie doll.

Everyone looked at me like I was the weirdest kid in class.

"Hi Sarah." Adam said as he entered our room.

Omg he's actually here! Saying hello to me! Omg annyeonghaseyo oppa! He's been my crush since first grade. That's why I became so sad on the day he left for Italy. His parents I mean his father was from Italy. They lived there for a couple of years. I only got the news that he returned to San Francisco on the day before Chloe's death.

"Uh, hello Sarah." Adam held bus hand in the hair shaking it as if I was distracted by things, and yes I am.

It was then I came to my senses I realized there was a tear escaped from my eye.

"Oh, hey." I quickly wiped it out before he notice it.

"So what are you doing here?" I asked.

He scratched the back of his hair.

"Uh, I was wondering if you'd go with me at lunch." Ooh he was asking me out.

I smirked subtly.

Shut up, Sarah. Maybe he also invited his other friends.

Ugh. Okay. Whatever.

"Uh, sure. Yeah." I smiled.

"Yeah. Okay. So, at lunch?"

I nodded and smiled.

"Okay bye." As soon as he exited our room, the bell rang.

Crap I'm gonna be late. I quickly fixed my things which were still scattered at my table.

As soon as I was finished I quivkly ran to our next classroom and as I was running, I heard someons said my name.

Weird. Thers was no one on the hallway.

Omg I'm late! Faster Sarah!

As I entered the room, I was thankful that Ms. Frank wasn't here yet. I took a deep breath and headed to the direction of my table.

"Nu-uh ms. tardy." She closed the door halfly making me hit my head onto the door which really hurts.

Ugh. What the heck is her thing with me? I mean, all of the teachers her love me except her!

I massaged my forehead with a grumpy face looking at her.

"Yah! What's that face for! Aish, jinja! Jugallae?!" Oh. I forgot to mention. Miss Frank was half korean.

Good thing I know how to speak korean. Hmm. That's why I understand everything she says in korean.

I just headed for my table and focused on our lesson for today. Great. Statistics. Ugh. Most hated teacher and subject, Math joined together. Can you even tell how unlucky I am?
