Chapter Seven

Simon's Pov

When I was finally ready I headed downstairs and of course everyone was ready except me
"Where were you?" Josh said
"Ask JJ and Harry!" I said and I started to turn red remembering what just happened
"Wellll" JJ started but I quickly stop him
"ACTUALLY NO! Don't ask JJ! Let me just grab the rest of my stuff!" I say and run out and vagly hear Josh say "Don't take to long, we got to leave soon!"

I just grab all the stuff I had when I first came here which honestly wasn't that much. I grabbed a little bit of food, my rifle, hunting knife and magnum.

I head back to Josh and the other 5

"Alright, I'm good to go!" I say to Josh

"Alright let's go then, we can't take to long, we will take at least 30 minutes each house!" Josh says to everyone and we all nod in agreement

We all start to leave the place and head to my place first because I'm pretty sure that mine is the closes to here.

"Wait so how far is it to your place Simon?" Josh asked

"I'd say about a mile 1/2!" I say and he nods and carries on walking and starts talking to Tobi
It's honestly so good to see two people who are still friends even though this has happened. I can only imagine how many people have turned on there friends just because it's the apocalypse.

JJ comes up behind me and scares me a bit
"Oh Jesus Christ JJ!"

"SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!" He says very VERY loud and starts laughing

"Shhhhh. Can you please be quiet, we are in the Zombie apocalypse, we don't want to get there attention you fucking idiots!" Harry loud whispers it

"Well sorry that we are having some fun." JJ says to him and Harry just rolls his eyes in response and just carries on walking and talking to Vik

"Geez what's his problem man." I say to JJ and he just gives me a shrug and I just sign

He honestly needs to stop being a dick because that's a way you get killed quick in the apocalypse. I mean I wouldn't  KILL him, just a shot in the arm or a stab in the shoulder just so he can get some karma for being a peice of shit

*30 minute time travel skip...Coz I can*

We finally arrived at my house, looking at it brings suck good memories growing up, playing in the garden, climbing trees and just being the Simon minter I was...but it brings the bads back as well

Flashback

"Simon dinners ready!" My mum called from downstairs

"COMING!!"I yell from my bed room, it was an average sized room with red walls, a Leeds poster, a Linkin park poster, a stormzy poster and a punch of other crap that a teenager boy would have

I quickly run downstairs knowing mum's food was the BOMB. I go down already seeing my brothers and mother at the table serving dinner

"Took you long enough!" My older brother Nick said as a joke, I just punch him softly in the arm and take a seat. I look at the empty table next to me

"Your dad's still working on his so called 'project'!" My mum said looking at me noticing I was looking at the seat. I just give a nod to her and she gives a small smile

A few minutes later our dad comes in

"Hey sweetheart." Giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and sitting down, you could definitely see he wasn't having a great day

"So uh dad what's this project you're working on?" Nick asks dad just looks at him and says

"Don't worry about it son, I'll tell you when it's done." He says going back to his food and then he gets a call

"I gotta go take this!" He says and just leaves, listen I love my dad okay...but he could at least TRY be more of a dad then a scientist you know?

My dad comes rushing in saying 'WE GOTTA GO NOW!" He says and we all just look at him scared and confused  " Sweetheart what do you mean we have to go?" Mum asks him

"I MEAN WE HAVE TO GO, LIKE RIGHT N-" We all here screaming out side "shit" dad said "There already here?" He says and goes in the other room quickly "Wh-o Who's coming?"
I ask

"The apocalypse!"
