4 Years, 4 Reasons - Harry Styles Fanfic

Hi, guys! This is my first experience writing a fanfic, so sorry if I haven't quite gotten the hang of things yet! I will try to update often, but my school is pretty intense so sometimes I have a lot of homework. But still, I'm super excited to be writing this for you guys and bring my wildest dreams to life! I couldn't believe it. I was 16 years old, probably one of the biggest Directioners on the planet, and yet I was going to my very first 1D concert tonight. I got all A's on my final report card, so Mom and Dad surprised me with 4 tickets to the concert. I was going with my best friends Gabby and Madison, and my 13-year-old sister Anna. Apparently she got a good grade on her science project or something so she got to come along. But I wasn't going to let it bother me. She was usually pretty cool anyways.

"I can't believe we've got front row seats!" Gabby squealed.

"Em, this is gonna be totally awesome." Madison gushed.

"Ok we've got to get Harry to wave at us!!" I replied. Harry Styles was by far our favorite One Direction member, as well as being about the sexiest guy on Earth.

"Omg I would seriously like pass out!" Madison said.

"Ok don't say I'm awful but lately I've kinda been into Niall the most..." Gabby said.

Me and Madison looked at each other.

"Well then more Harry for us!" we said together, laughing.

"Ok, girls, here we are!" Mom said.

"Now have fun, be safe, and Emily, keep track of your sister!"

"Mom I'm not 5 I'll be fine!" Anna snapped.

"Yeah Mom, it'll be ok." I reassured her.

We got out of the car and had Anna take a picture of us in front of Nationwide Arena. It was one of the most popular venues for concerts in Ohio, and I preferred it over the Schottenstein Center.

"Totally adorable!' Gabby said.

"That's going on Instagram!" we laughed.

Once inside and past security, we found our seats. They were centered right in front of the stage, what was sure to be a perfect view of the boys.

Apparently we were a tad bit late, as the opening band had already finished performing, and we were now minutes away from what we had been anticipating for months.

 All of a sudden the lights turned off. For a split second everyone in the arena was just sitting there, waiting. 

"Hello, Columbus!" the boys shouted, lighting up the stage. 

And that was the beginning of the best concert ever. 

"Alright, we hate to leave but this is gonna have to be our last song for the night." Liam said. 

The audience booed and Gabby let out a long "Noooooo!"

Just as they got to the final chorus, a women in a black jaket and workpants walked up to us.

"Hello, girls, my name is Samantha Reyes, I work here at Nationwide." she shouted over the screaming fans. 

"The boys gave me 5 backstage passes to hand out during the show. If it's alright with your parents, once they finish this song here you can come back with me and meet them."

I couldn't believe it. 

"YES!" Madison screamed.

"Uh yeah, that sounds great!" I said. This was turning into the best night of my life.

"Alright well make sure it's alright with your parents first. Once the lights come up just stay here in your seats. Once most of these people clear out, I'll come get you, ok?"

"Sounds great!" I said excitedley.

I grinned even wider, if that was possible. 

I was about to meet the members of One Direction. 

"I swear if this is some kind of a joke I'm gonna find that lady and rip her and her fancy black blazer to shreads!" Madison huffed.

"Yeah seriously, it's been like an hoouurrrrr" Gabby complained. 

"Guys it's been, like, 10 minutes. Chill."

I also was secretly getting nervous, but I had to stay calm. I refused to become one of those obsessed fans that went insane when they met the boys, crying or fainting or just staring and not saying anything.

We then heard the click-clack of the worker lady's heels and snapped our heads in her direction.

"Hello ladies, sorry to keep you waiting. The boys just needed to freshen up a bit after their show."

The boys were "freshening up"? For us? I felt my knees wobble.

"Oh, that's fine!" I heard myself say in an unnaturally high voice.

Settle down, Em I thought. You will not turn into one of those hysterical fan girls.

"Alright, well, if you four are ready, go ahead and follow me! I'll take you to the boys."

 That's the end of Chapter 1! I'll try to post some more over the weekend, I just want to get a feel first for what you guys like and don't. Please please PLEEEAAASSSEEE leave comments below!
