Papa went to see if any of the team came to join our quest to save our world. I waited on the brig. Then I heard talking. Then Mick came in and put a knocked out Jefferson into one of the seats and put down his restraint so that during time travel he wouldn't be flung around the room. That would happen because we would be going through the time stream.
Stein walked in and Mick put his arm around his neck and said interested and probably excited that Stein obviously drugged Jefferson so he could come and time travel. My guess is that Jefferson did not approve of coming here. "Whatever you roofied him with, I'd like some." "I did not roofie him." Stein defended himself. "Oh, I ain't judging." Mick said congratulating Stein almost make obviously was a crook you could easily tell. "I have never seen anything like this before." Kendra said entering amazed at how the ship looked. To them it looked futuristic to me not so much. "Neither have I, and considering I have 4,000 years worth of memories, that's saying something." Carter said even more amazed than Kendra. "How does a vessel of this size function without a crew?" Stein asked "we don't need one. We have Gideon." I said really enthusiastically because I absolutely love Gideon. "Welcome aboard. I am Gideon, an interactive artificial consciousness programmed to operate this vessel's critical systems and aid Captain Hunter in his mission." Gideon said introducing herself as she showed her programmed face to the crew. "Captain?" Snart questioned. "Gideon's been working on helping me locate Vandal Savage." Papa explained. "I thought you said he's pretty active in the 22nd century." Ray replied. Face planted like he supposed to be the smart one so how come he hasn't figured out that we can't just go to our time at the height of his power and kill him. He has forces in the future and they would kill us. "Perhaps engaging Savage at the height of his powers isn't the best strategy. Stein replied. Finally someone with some common sense. "Indeed. Unfortunately, Savage has kept his movements hidden throughout history. Not even Gideon can determine where or when we can find him. But I have the next best thing: the man who can. Professor Aldus Boardman. Professor Boardman is the world's leading... well, only... expert on Vandal Savage. We're gonna pay him a little visit." Papa said showing them pictures of Professor Boardman on the table monitor in the middle of the brig. "Course plotted for St. Roch, New Orleans." "St. Roch?" Carter questioned. "October 17, 1975." Gideon finished. "I suggest you all strap yourselves in. Temporal navigation isn't something one wants to be standing up for." I told them.
They all sat down and strapped in. "Time travel. Cool." Mick commented. "Some of you may experience some slight discomfort. In very rare instances, there will be some, uh, bleeding from the eyeballs." Papa report to the group. "I'm sorry, what?" Kander asking surprise hoping that she didn't hear the last part correctly. Sorry girl even time travel has defects but luckily for me I'm one of the 5% that aren't affected by going through the time stream. "The human body is used to time unfolding linearly." Papa. replied.
We started flying in the air when Jefferson started to wake up. "Oh. Jackson, I'm so glad you're awake. I didn't want you to miss this." Stein said extremely excited about the new adventure that he was going on. "Miss what?" Jefferson asked disorientated. "What the..." he said suddenly realising where he was. I could tell he didn't wanna be here. "Oh, no, I wouldn't unfasten those if I were you." I warned him even though I would love to see what happened if he unfastened his restraint. "Get me off this... whatever this thing is!" Jefferson yelled in panic it was actually pretty funny. "Good luck explaining this." Sara commented amused at the scene just as much as I was. "He doesn't look all that grateful." Lenord piped in also finding this extremely funny. "Just hang on and remain calm. All your worlds are about to change." Dad said dramatically as we entered the time stream. "To the 70's!" I said extremely joyful about this trip.
We arrived in 1975. Mick vomited. "Eww there is a bin over there you know." I told him disgusted. "Shut it princess." He spat insulting me. "No way baldy." I spat back. Sara and Kendra chuckled they were probably thinking I showed Mick whose boss but it could be the other way around we'll never no. "Oh, I should have mentioned it before. Nausea is one of the side effects of time travel, along with..." papa said ignoring mine and Mick's banter. Only to be cut off by Ray falling flat on his face because of vertigo. "Aah!" Ray said as he fell. "Vertigo." Papa finished. I laughed at the fact Ray fell on his face. Okay it sounds mean but come on it's hilarious. "I can't see." Stein complained. Well no shit Sherlock you were glasses for a reason. You should say more blind than I already am. "And temporary blindness. Oh, it should only last a minute. After all, that was a mere jaunt. The further back in time you go, the worse the side effects. Better?" Papa explained and asked if Stines vision was all intact well to the point he could see out of his glasses. "It's all relative." Stein reported. Why does he have to use fancy words he could just say it's all good. Or my vision is back to they way it was. "Good." Papa replied. Then Papa came over to me and put a arm around me. "Nice Way of handling Mr Rory" papa chuckled to me so no one could hear but me. "I can't believe you kidnapped me. Hey, I want to go home." Jefferson half yelled. "Good news, then. 2016 will be around in, uh, 41 years." I said chuckling. Jefferson sent me a glare. I shrugged "what just telling you the truth 2016 will be around in 41 years." I defended my self chuckling. "Now, you three, feel free to make yourselves comfortable back here on the ship, while the rest of you are coming with me to find Professor Boardman." Papa said excluding Sara, Snart and Mick. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You're benching us?" Mick grumbled. "I thought we were a team." Sara half yelled annoyed about staying behind. "This mission doesn't require your particular skill set. Yet." Papa explain to them. "Meaning you don't need anyone killed, maimed, or robbed." Snart said putting what papa said into facts. "Precisely." I said with a perky voice. "Sure it's a good idea to leave these two unsupervised on a time machine?" Ray asked which I thought was a bit offensive to Snart and Mick. I mean I wouldn't trust Mick but I would trust Snart. "Hey, haircut! Deafness wasn't one of the side effects." Mick growled. "We better hurry up. Professor Boardman will die in less than 24 hours." Papa told them. Papa just wanted to leave and find him I could tell by the way he is trying to hide his annoyance. "What's the point in cutting it so close?" Ray asked. Seriously come on it's obviously. There Ray goes again he maybe good a Science stuff but he lacks in common sense. "Because if he's destined to die, then he doesn't have a timeline for us to disrupt, and his impact on the future will be minimal. How brilliant." Stien said excitedly. "And depressing. How does he die?" Kendra asked. "Uh, he's found dead in his university from unknown causes. Come on." Papa said wanting to leave. "Are you coming?" Stein asked Jefferson. "I'll stay put." Jefferson replied still really annoyed at the professor. "You'd rather stay with them?" Stein questioned. "They didn't drug me." Jefferson pointed out coldly. Understandable. "Point taken." Stein said understanding why Jefferson didn't want to come.
