"Chris!" Mom shouts

"Why ma?" I ask

It is our prom already... Junior Prom

"What takes you so long?" Mom said behind my closed bedroom door and she knocked three times

"Uhm... I am just thinking what I might forgot" I lied.. It is just that I do not want wearing dresses because it is not comfortable for me

"Liar... I know what is the problem darling... But it is a need to wear a dress please darling come out and attend your prom... Jprom is once in a lifetime darling... You will never have a jprom twice..." Mom said

I opened the door

"Oh darling ... " mom hugged me and I hugged her back

"It is okay now mom .... I will go" I said

Our hugging moment with mom ended quick ... I planned to go to the prom because of my mom... It is just that I do not want her to be dissapointed again...

I was looking for my friends but after 30 minutes of looking and finding, I failed

So, I rested instead of waiting, eating, and watching other students dance, laugh, and enjoy the night

"REINA!" I shouted

*she sat infront of me*

"Where is Frances?" Reina asked

"I dunno... I was looking for her but nah I failed" I answered

"Oh? Actually I just came here" Reina said and chuckled

"You really look good with your orange dress ... Chris, it really suits you ... And you know what you must wear dresses oftenly because it makes you more beatiful and charming!" Reina said

"Tss.. What a joke! " I said

"Trust me " she said seriously and held my both hands tight

" wait ... Where is Frances? " I changed our topic

"Change topic? Hmm? Oh well let me call her okay?" Reina said and walked away from the other student's noise

Once again I am alone! How nice!

I waited and waited until 7:15

"Chris" I know that voice it is from...

"It's me Jake "when he said that I looked at him and he smiled so I smiled back

"Yeah... I know" I said quickly and he sat infront of me (where Reina sat earlier)

"Uhmm... I was about to ask ... *clear throat* I mean I want to ask you if .." He cuts, maybe he is shy?

"Ask me if?" I ask

"Uh... Ask you if you want to dance?" He finally said

"Oh no... I am so sorry ! I do not want to dance... Trust me jake, I want to have a dance with you, honestly it would be the greatest thing ! But I do not trust myself especially in dancing" I honestly said

" Oh really? Well I respect your decision but I want to ask one more thing" jake

"What is it?" I asked

"Are you free tomorrow eight o'clock in the morning?" He asks ... Is he asking me out? Seriously?
