During homeroom, Lisa couldn't help but stare into space, thinking about how close everyone was to finding out that her mother caused the huge black eye she's sporting (unwillingly of course, who would want a black eye?). She didn't even notice the note Carlos was passing to her from Logan.

"(Lisa! Lisa!)" he whispered until he got fed up and chucked it at her.

"(Ow! Carlos, what the hell? You throw like a football player!)" Lisa sighed in anger and she began to read the message.

Lisa, r u alright? You've been quite distant this morning, even during the roll call when miss called out ur name, u didn't sound ok. If u don't wanna speak about it then that's fine, just want to know if you're alright.

Logan x

Crap, he knows something... What do I do? she couldn't help but feel nauseous, but she wrote back.

Yeah, I'm fine, Logie. Sorry for using your nickname btw. There's no need to be worried J

Lisa x

Logan sighed. He knew something else was up but before he could reply back, the bell rang, signalling the end of homeroom and Lisa dissapeared almost immediately to her Theatre History class.

...

Lisa sat down in her usual seat next to Bridgit and smiled her fake smile at her. Bridgit frowned.

"What's up Bridge? You never NOT smile," Lisa asked.

"Your smile was fake. I know when you guys don't smile for real, it's a gift and a curse. So now you tell me what's up," Brigdit retaliated.

"I, er... hey did you watch Ryan Higa's new video? Ha ha it was so-"

"LISA! Yeah I watched it but I wanna know what's going on. You're never like this. EVER! Not even when your father died-" Lisa cringed slightly before saying, "I don't wanna talk about it. Please, just drop it." Needless to say that both girls were silent for the remainder of the class. While their teacher was telling the class what their assignment is, Bridgit sent her brother a text message about how weird Lisa had been acting and that Lisa flinched when Bridgit mentioned Lisa's father. Almost immediately, Logan replied saying that maybe she was still quite sensitive about his untimely death. Bridgit was going to reply but the bell rang, and her and Logan have Physics together so she'd tell him about her conversation with Lisa then.

AN: Hi and in case you didn't notice italics were basically thoughts... I kinda feel stupid because I only have one review, but seeing as though I've already published this story I may as well finish it. Thanks if you do read it though (even if you are only a silent reader)
