"It's nearly done," You muttered, gliding the pencil over the paper.

Pouting slightly, "I'm sure you said that ten minutes ago," He groaned, watching the corners of your lips rise.

"Be patient," You ordered, stopping for a second to look up at the boy and take in his features, only making him more impatient. He's gorgeous, even with a yellow splodge of paint staining his cheek.

For most of the day, the art room had been where you and Sanha stayed. Mostly you doodling and painting, while Sanha would take selfies, making you join in. Resulting in a rather large splatter landing on his face, accidentally of course.

"Y/n, you're so cruel, making me sit here while you get to do all the easy work," He whined, placing his head in his hand.

"The easy work, yeah...sure."

The silence continued for a few minutes, while you casually drew devil horns on what was the now completed face of Sanha, minus his left eyebrow. You giggling to yourself, completely avoiding Sanha standing from the plastic stool.

It was easy for him to make his way unnoticed. Only when he was a mere half a metre away did you finally notice and take your eyes off of your sketchbook. It was too late. You felt the impact before you could even think. The substance felt cold against your skin. Dragging your fingers across the mass of paint that had come into contact with your forehead, you brought your hand into eye's vision; The paint was an obscure colour, the median between green and yellow.

"What the—" You started, eyes looking back and forth from your paint covered hand and the smug Sanha definitely standing further than half a metre now. Not able to contain his laughter Sanha burst out laughing. So much that he was nearly on the floor. His Laughter was so contagious you couldn't help but join in.

"How can someone be so cute when they're mad?" Sanha asked aloud, regretting it the moment the words left his lips. Why did he say that? Why ruin the moment? What was he even thinking?

Silence remained for a few moments.

In the corner of your eye, you noticed your sketchbook, which you had been so devoted to only a few minutes ago, face down on the floor. Sanha must have noticed too because soon enough both of you, were face to face, yours hands on the pages. This time you truly took in his features from up close.

You were close friends but you had never been in such proximity with him. As much as you wished moments like this in the past, it never crossed your mind that it could happen. The crimson colour on your cheeks spoke for itself.

"Are you gonna...urm...pick up the sketchbook or am I?" He stammered, caught off guard.

Instead of answering, you snatched the book and quickly stood. The blood rushing to your head, made you feel dizzy. Surprised by your actions, it took him a minute or so to get up from the ground. It was strange how something so perfectly innocent like sketching a picture of a friend could turn into something awkward and affectionate.

Out of the blue, Sanha walked over to you. The world seemed to revolve around the ground at that point and didn't dare look into his eyes. "You don't mind if look at your sketch, do you?" Sanha asked as you passed it, lifting your head for a brief moment just to look at the window the next.

"I didn't get enough time to finish your left eyebrow..." You trailed off, the trees outside made you want to grab your palette and paint while listening to whatever cheesy song was on the radio.

"Since when has drawing horns been more important than eyebrows, did I miss something in art class," He joked, "And don't you think you've drawn my nose a little too big."

"No."

"I'm sure—"

"I was rushing because someone was nagging me every five seconds," You complained. Finally, you stopped staring out of the window and looked back at Sanha. The way he was looking you was something you had always missed. He only looked at you this way when you were too busy sketching to notice or when you were in your whole own world. However, this time he'd be caught in the act.

Just as you'd became comfortable with how close you were, or at least forgot about it, it became a whole lot more awkward. You wanted to step nearer but what would that being implying and what if he didn't want the same thing as you, it was just all a bunch of mixed signals that you were looking too closely at.

The hands on the clock, which stuck to the wall at the back of the classroom, moved at a leisurely pace. In fact, it seemed to not to move at all.

Sanha tried to imagine what one of his hyungs would do in this situation, before realising that probably wasn't the brightest idea - which his day had been full of. Deciding to do something risky, he edged a centimetre closer to you.
