(Julia’s POV)
After about an hour, I plopped myself onto the couch and pulled out my cell. After finding out that my parents were out running errands, I asked them if I could go to the concert tomorrow and if I could go out Saturday night with a “friend” I didn’t want to go into detail because my parents would be asking way to many questions. I pressed the text button next to Zayn’s name and began to type: Hey Zayn I’m free Saturday night so just lemme know what time! :) xx I decided to not tell him I was going to his concert tomorrow and possibly surprise him, and just as I hit send I turned the TV and there he was! There was Zayn and the rest of the boys doing an interview. This guy was everywhere, was it a sign? No it couldn’t be and plus he was a celebrity of course he’s going to be all over. I tossed my phone beside me and turned the volume up to hear what they’d say.
(Zayn’s POV)
As we started the interview, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I couldn’t answer it so I thought I’d wait till the commercial break, I was hoping it was Julie letting me know if we could hangout this weekend. I kept getting the urge to check my phone but knew I couldn’t, when were we gonna go to commercial break? The interviewer was asking the same old questions how did you become One Direction, do you like being in a band blah blah blah. Finally the interviewer asked about dating. “So are any of you taken?” “I am” Liam, Louis, and Harry said in unison. “What about you Niall?” “No I’m still single” he said and the crowd went wild. Uh oh it’s my turn “Zayn how about you?” “Well” I said while rubbing the back of my neck “I have a friend right now so we’ll see how it all works out” and just as I said that the crowd went even crazier. “Alright well it’s time for a commercial we’ll be back with more One Direction!” As soon as the buzzer sound went meaning we could get up I raced to the bathroom past some fans and went to check my phone.
(Julie’s POV)
I was just sitting watching the interview which was really good they seem so sweet. Then it got to the who’s dating and who’s single question. I knew Zayn was going to say single because we just met and we weren’t dating or anything and just as I thought that. “Well, I have a friend right now so we’ll see how it all works out” he said while rubbing the back of his neck which was so cute! My heart started racing, was he talking about me?! Just as he said that my phone buzzed it was Zayn: Heyy that’s awesome I’ll pick you up around 7…can’t wait! xxx. Then I got another text it was from Joelle: OMG did you see the boys interview?! Zayn was totally talking about you ahhh I’m so happy for you! xx. I texted her back saying: I hope so and we’re hanging out at 7 on Saturday! :) xx. I decided to go upstairs and start my homework which I almost forgot about. Thank God I didn’t have school today but I didn’t get why they couldn’t just give me off tomorrow too, oh well I’m seeing Zayn and the other boys perform and the night after I’m having a possible date with him! Life seems good!
