My Eighteenth birthday
I expected it to be like everyone else's 18th birthday
The night before you see your soulmate
I was expecting a pretty girl with blonde hair and blue eyes
Instead I saw a man he had striking blue eyes and short black hair styled in a fringe
He was kind of beautiful
I thought I would be sent away if anyone found out
So I kept it to myself.

Hi internet
So today I'm going to talk about something different
Soulmates
Everyone knows that I am 27 but I've never introduced or talked about my soulmate
If you don't know the history already I'll tell you now

94 years ago
The government injected everyone under 18 with a serum
As we all know back then the government was very homophobic
And they wanted to eradicate homosexuality
So they created the serum to give everyone a set soulmate
And the serum makes people love their set soulmate
Of course the government is less homophobic but no gay couples exist today.
That's just a very short summary of the history though
Let's get back to me
I did see my soulmate in my dreams when I turned 18
She was a beautiful woman with black hair and blue eyes
But sadly when we finally found each other, she got murdered.
Tragic I know
But I'm fine now have a good day/ night

I sigh and turn off the camera
I wish I didn't have to lie to them like this
