Emma Yao, a 5' 6" journalist for an outdoor magazine had just finished her 5th round of shots after her date stood her up. She was about to ask the bartender for another on but she decided that she might as well go home and not do any more damage. She ended up having to dash to the bathroom because the vodka wasn't doing so well in her system. You could her spewing chunks like a wood chipper from outside of the bar. With a small sliver of dignity left, she got up and tried to walk out. But, Emma couldn't even make it 10 feet before she collapsed in front of Mari Takahashi, a girl who just broke up with her boyfriend who was feeling down as well. Mari felt bad for Emma and decided to get her a cab. Emma being more than a little drunk had blurry vision and gave Mari her number. Mari smiling walked back into the bar. Mari finally feeling better after a long day at work, walked to her apartment building a couple of blocks down. Not being able to go to sleep she decided to call Emma. It went straight to voicemail. Mari a little drunk left a message.
