Magic Book

* Jesse POV*

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. Yum, that smells good! I woke up to see me and Mackie in a bed. Oh, i forgot we were trapped in this house. My nose lied to me. It smelled like mens colone. Yuck!

Where is Tori? Where the hell is a bathroom?

I got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen. Nobody. She must be in the basement.

I turn my flashlight on my phone and walked down. Man, it gives me the creeps just to be down here walking alone. How does Tori do this?

I made it down the steps to see Tori reading a book. She look very into the book.

" So, how early did you wake up to read?" I asked her. She glanced from her book to look at me.

" An hour or two ago. Dude, this book is on magic. Im thinking about getting mood eyes." She said while reading. I was confused on what she was talking about.

" Im sorry, mood eyes?"

" Yeah, you know how rings that change color in your moods? Well this book says that it can make your eyes do it. Love it so far."

" So, any on shape shifting books?" I asked.

" Yeah.... uh..... here. Its good. Read one page of it." She said handing me a book. I started reading it on how people started to shift into forms and where it all began. This is my kind of book. I read for awhile until something interfer me reading time.

" Ok, i found out how to do it. In this world there are many kinds of moods. The one mood i have is happy. Now i make myself have 10 moods....fereshmybodywithmoods!"

After reading that, she closed her eyes and held her head. She must be feeling 10 different moods, she look like she was having a mingrane.

Minutes pass and Tori opdned here eyes. They were now blue. What does that mean?

" Whats blue?" I said.

" Uhhh..... blue is calm. Is that my color?" She said.

" Yeah, nice color tho. Try a different mood!"

She looked up with her eyes and closed them. She opened them back up and the color was now pink. Never seen that.

" Pink?"

" That means love. I memeraized that part. Red is angry, purple is sad, green is happy, orange is sad, yellow is scared. What lovely colors." She said while her eyes changed to green. Nice in green.

" How do you find the words?" I asked, making me skip some pages.

" I dont think you wanna do that. There are some rules and other notes before you read. Have to control it first." She said. Maybe she is right, ill just have to read. Might make more since in it.

" Hello beautifuls." A voice said from the dark side of the room. I glanced at Tori, whos eyes were yellow now. I feel the same way.

" Whos there?" Tori said mad and scared at the same time.

The door closed by itself because i didnt see anything there. The candles that lit the place went completely out. It was total black darkness.

" Jesse, you still sitting down?" Tori whispered to me.

" Yeah, let me try to grab my phone." I grabbed my phone and to my luck, it died.

" Is your phone with you?" I asked Tori.

" Its dead. Great now what?" She said, touching my arm. I grabbed her arm telling her that that was me.

" Quickly, follow me. Crawl on the floor. Its safer." She said. We got to the ground, still holding her arm so i dont get lost. Why phone? Why?

*thud, collapse* " Ouch, shit, what did i hit?" Tori said.

" My foot." A husky voice said. Tori opened her eyes making them glow alittle. Her eyes were really yellow, making me see them.

" W-Wh-W-Whos there?" I said, scared enough to pee my pants.

" We live here!" The man said next to us. We? Did he really say that.

" Ok then, can we just leave?" Tori asked. Her eyes changing to red. This man made her angry.

" Never!" Another husky voice said.

The candles lit back up and we saw no one there. Weird. Creepy. Alot of words decribe this.

" Im so lost! Were are the voices, th-th-th-the two dudes. Im so confused. Lets grab our books and get back upstairs." Tori said, her eyes turning white. What?

" Umm, whats white?" I asked while walking upstairs.

" Uhhh, i have know idea. Its probably confusion. Cause thats what i feel." She said opening the door to her room. We saw Mackie rocking back and forth saying 'nothing happened. its all a dream'. She must have saw something to.

" Mac, did you hear guy voices too?" Tori asked while sitting next to her. I sat infront of Mackie.

" Yeah, how you know?" Mackie asked.

" We heard it. Scared shitless!" I said.

" He said we cant never leave. I am scared. What is wrong with your eyes Tori?!" Mackie said.

" Oh uh, ill explain. Its a magic book and found a mood eye changer. I got a book for you tho. Its about reading minds." Tori said, handing Mackie a book. She looked at it and thanked her.

" Does anyone know where the bathroom is?" Mackie asked while getting up. Me and Tori got up with her.

" Oh yeah. I found it while walking around. Come on." Tori said. Me and Mackie followed her down the hall to the second door from the stairs. She opened the bathroom to see a toilet, bathtub, and a shower separately. Big bathroom.

" There ya go." Tori said letting Mackie go in. She closed the door behind me and her eyes went to normal. Wow.

" Hey, your eyes are normal. How are you calm?" I asked.

" I just thought of something to get my mind off of this whole house being stupid. Just trying to control my eyes. It was in the book." Damn, luckly i have to read my book.

" Ugh, ill go read then." I said walking into the room with blue walls. Ugh, hate reading. But if i wanna learn to control my powers, ill have to read.

I sat on the comfortable bed and began reading.
