The leopard stayed on the right side of the small, narrow stone road as he followed its turns and twists. He paused and tilted it head back looking at the direction it came back from, whimpering the leopard turned around. His front paws hit the ground and instantly he whipped himself back around. The leopard snorted and contined on again.
He had no idea where or what he was heading towards but he knew he definetely wanted to travel. He was curious and more than amazed by what he could discover beyond the forest and plains in the horizon.
He was scared no doubt, but he felt that he had to go somewhere and start seeing more things. The forest had been his hime for so many years already and he knew he'd miss it dearly, but the anticipiation of finding out about the unknown kept his feet moving.
As the sun in the sky started setting, the forest and trees around became swallowed in the darkness, the leopard relaxed slightly as he moved further into the shadows to let the darkness camaflouge him. He kept his body low, head down and ears up, alert of every sound and sight that passed him. The wind howled, whipping past his head, like it was encouraging him to go on and tell him to follow it. The leopard lifted his head up and listened to the wind. He knew the wind couldn't possibly be doing that but he felt the need to listen to it. And that's what he did.
