The morning arrived, I peeked out of the door, I looked back at Natalie, she was getting up.

"You ready to head to the city?". I asked her.

"Yeah". She got up and grabbed her gun, I pulled my backpack over my shoulder.

We made our way onto the highway, we seen a sign that read, "Renver City 1 Mile".

"Oh my god! Look we are almost close to the city". I said.

"And we can finally get out of these dreadful clothes". She sighed.

"Well what are we waiting for?". I passed her in excitement.

It took us a long time to get there, but we made it.

We headed into a clothing outlet, we looked around at clothing.

"Where are the restrooms? So I can change?". She asked.

"I don't even know". I looked around and searched some more.

I found my clothes and headed down the hall in the clothing outlet, where I found the restrooms , Natalie was trying to press against the door.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I can't get in, it's locked".She said.

"Can't you shoot it or something? Oh! No you can't". I said quietly.

"We ran out of Bullets last night". I looked down at an steel pipe.

"No! Crim, I wouldn't if I were you, that thing can bust". She backed away.

"Well I guess we have to change here". She shrugged.

I looked around and said, "Fine, but don't look at me while I change".

"Why would I look at you while you change anyway?". She turned the other way.

I finished changing, she was as well.

She came up to me, "Uh! Crimson Why do you have an scar on your stomach?".

I looked at her, "I thought I told you not to look at me, while I was changing".

"Sorry, but I wanted to check to see if you were done". She grinned.

I sighed. "I got it when I fell down a hill".

"Aww I'm sorry". She said.

"That was my nearby death". I said pulling my backpack around my shoulder.

She stood up, "Well I'm glad you didn't, god must of thought "This girl is not gonna die!".

I smiled. "Seem like it".

We went to a weapon store, We stopped to a rumble.

We both turned towards the end of the street, there was a horde.

We quickly ran into store and grabbed everything that we needed.

We boarded the windows with a few boards, that were laying around in the store.

"Do you think they will get in?". She asked.

"Well heck yeah". I panicked.

"But hurry, we have to find a way out". I looked around and piled everything against the windows and doors.

Soon we were surronded inside, they were breaking the doors and scattering  the windows.

We ran to the back door and tried to unlock it, the walkers were bracing through the door.

I found an old style bow & arrow, I prepared to use it.

Natalie busted the back door with an wooden board.

We ran through the bushes, we heard the growls of the walkers behind us.

We sprinted into the closest building that was nearby us , we shut the steel door almost losing our breaths.

I drank water and sunk myself into an torn chair.

We searched the place for any zombie, there was nothing.

I layed on the torn bed that was in the room , "I hope they don't know we are here?". I said.

"I don't think, they will know". She threw herself on the sofa.

"Can I see your scar?". She asked looking at me from a far distance.

"Why? It's just a scar?". I said giving her an weird expression.

"I just want to see if there are any damages to it". She pulled out a small health package.

"No! No! I can take care of it myself".

I got up and walked down the hall, she followed me.

"Well you need my--". I cut her off. "No! I don't need your help".

"Uh! Yeah you do". She said. "What if you were getting attacked? What happens then?".

"Well Um let's see, uhh! I die".

She smiled. "Come on Crimson  just a peek".

"Why would you want a peek at my stomach?".

"Crimson!". She pouted. "Please!".

"No! I got it". I walked off,  she grabbed my arm.

"Don't touch me!". I pushed her back against the wall.

"Crimson, why are you scared to show your scar?".

"I'm not scared, I just don't want anyone to see my scar, it's only my personal business". I backed up away from her.

"Fine". She held up her hands and dropped the health package.

"You are gonna be asking for my help later". She said tracing her fingers through her hair.

"Yeah! Thanks for the heads up", I looked out the window.

It was getting dark, we were in the room falling half  asleep.
