You were kidnapper by the government. Everyday your magic/power/or whatever was drained. Since it would always regenerate they kept you alive so they could drain it everyday.
You were kepted in a magic/power/or whatever proof cell so you couldnt escape. It was drained for a secret weapon.

*you were chained in the cell with you on your knee's and your arms are in the air staight (if you seen mech x 4 and how leo is prisoned then thats how)*
