My heart aches. I feel the pain yet I don't. It is like my heart has finally become numb and I like it but then again I have been in the dark so long I have become scared of the light.
That was until I met him, Azusa who brought me out of the shado...
I woke up as I heard the door open. I opened my eyes and sat up before I looked to where the door was only to see Azusa dressed in what seemed to be some type of uniform. He looked a little stressed out which kind of worried me but at the same time, I had a little anger due to the fact that he brought me here to feed his brothers. I looked away from him but felt him stare at me.
"You are free to sleep in my room but Ruki wants to see you later."
"Thank you" I heard him walk near me.
"I am sorry for bringing you here but I guess I couldn't resist leaving you and never seeing you again. " I blushed hard and glared at him.
"Then everything we talked about was a lie? I told you everything about me...and you told me about you....Was anything you told me about a lie? Was it just to get me to lower my guard?" I said, raising my voice at the last sentence I said. I saw the sadness in his eyes and looked away from him. "I mean who jokes about things like that?"
"Lucy" He walked in the direction of where I had been facing but I turned my head again. "I was telling the truth. " My eyes widened at his words. The people who hurt him, the ones who helped him, he suffered a lot. I looked at him but I was still skeptical.
"How do I know if you are not lying to me again?"
"My cuts are only here because it reminds me that I was once needed. Just like yours." He grabbed my hand. "As you see, I am in the same amount of pain as you." I felt a stinging pain in my heart. He was hurt and even though he had his brothers, I guess he couldn't forget the small amount of emptiness in his heart.
"Last question, can you explain to me why you brought me here?"
"I only brought you here because I like you but I have been around you too much. So I brought you here but I guess my brothers didn't understand these feelings I feel. So they wanted me to take you back but I didn't want to be without you. So since the smell of your blood had intrigued them they offered that if they could drink your blood then you could stay." I felt the heat rise to my cheeks as I heard his words but ignored it. He sat in his bed but directly in front of me making me nearly jump.
"You could have told me before you kidnapped me. I could have found a way for you to see me and not get you stuck in this mess."
"That would be impossible. What they told me was right. I am too close to you." He put his hand on my cheek making me look up and stare at him in his eyes. "I guess I am too afraid to lose you." He moved his face near mine making my face as red as a tomato. "Ne Lucy-san, do you love me?"
"Azusa"
"Oi Azusa, school starts soon." We backed away from each other and looked at the direction of the voice.
"Yes, Ruki" I guess we were so distracted that we didn't hear the door open. Azusa walked out of the room. The guy who I assumed had the name Ruki looked at me.
"And you, you are coming as well." My eyes widened.
"Wait but I don't have a uniform or anything."
"The things you need is on the chair." He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. I couldn't forget the words that Azusa told me, the thing was, I couldn't understand how I was an eve?
