I started running, running without thought. Then everything went black. I realized that i ran into the glass. And then I knocked myself out. When I woke, I saw earth. It was beautiful, amazing, almost frightening to see earth from space. I quickly took a mind picture and turned to find my best friend, Chakra. We hugged briefly and I could see that she was crying. We decided that we would both look for our families. We both found our whole families and waited in anticipation for what would come. After nearly an hour of confusion and terror, we heard a raspy voice say, in broken english, "Thank you for boarding the mothership. We will now be taking our trip which will go at about the speed of light. The trip will last only ten minutes. We will the land on Skelmen, the one and only home planet. We are very happy to see that our experiment succeeded! We hope you enjoyed your stay on earth!"
And then I realized, as did everyone else, that I would ever go home again.
