Awakend

Chapter one, A Weird Walk to School

 I opend my eyes thinking that today was going to be like anyother day. The first thing I heard was the heavy drops of rain pounding on the ground outside my window. I sat upright in my bed pulling of all the warmth and comfort from my blankets, I instantly regretted that as I sat on the edge of my bed feeling the harsh cold air around me, makeing goosebumps travel up my arms. I reached for my pink smart phone which sat on the white side table next to my bed. I pressed the power button and the phone came to alive with a light and showed the time 6:24am, I put my phone back on the side table.  I knew if i didn't get up know my older brother Stewart would get in the shower first and take up all of the hot water and lets just say i was NOT going to let that happen, so up i got searching for my school uniform.

After I had my shower and got dressed I looked at my reflection in the big square mirror that hanged at the front of the bathroom. There i stood my long dark messy hair done up in the usuall ponytail that went down my back, my steady coffe brown eyes staring back at me, my lips shut firmly and my tanned skin showing, reaveling a couple of freckles around my nose. I was never satisfied with the way I looked but I didn't think any girl was in the morning. Three loud knocks on the door interupted my thoughts and a annoyed voice came from the other side

"Jade hurry up I still have to have my shower before i go to work and i swear if you have taken all the hot water i'll", 

''calm down'', I yelled from my side.

I opend the door to an angry older brother with his rugby shorts on and extremley bad bed hair. I couldn't help but laugh.

"What are you laughing at'' he said angirly

''your hair it looks like a birds nest''

Stewart gave me a cold look and then pushed past me into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Stewart's calm blue eyes inspected his messy medium light brown hair Steawart goes to the gym alot so he was in pretty good shape and lets just say he has had a lot of girlfriends in the past but for the moment stewart says he's done with girls for the time being and thats fine with me because i have a bad history with a lot of them anyways. Stewart then turned around and gave me a smirk,

''Okay it's pretty bad but at least i can fix mine, now get out i'm gonna be late''.

before i can think of a good come back stewart pushes me out and I hear the door slam shut behind me, I run down the stairs and make Steward a ham sandwitch for lunch, he has a job interview today at Lockwood Primary school which is around a five minute drive from our house me and stweart both went there when we were kids.

I then go get my black lether converse sneakers on and go wake my little brother Joel up he's sleeping on the couch as usuall and the tv's still on the cartoon chanell he watches. Joel is eleven and is pretty tiny for his age he has dark brown hair like me but he has stewards calm blue eyes which i have always been jelous of.

''Joel, wake up"

''Give me 5 minutes and I'll be up he replies in a sleepy voice".

After I pack my black school bag I go give Stewart his lunch and wish him good luck, steward looks at me with suprise and awkwardly takes the paper bag from me and ,mumbles a thanks and leaves. Me and my brothers are the only ones who live in our house, our parents went missing when we were little and the police couldn't find any traces to them no note to tell us they were leaving or anything, it's like they just disappeared. My anunt Oni looked after us until Stewart turned 19 years old and took custody of us. My aunt really helped us a lot in our life she even helped us buy our house and she comes and vists every sunday.

I then go upstairs to my room grab my phone go back down stairs and check the time, the phone lights up and reads 8:10am I walk through the back door and out of the house which leads into a short cut to get school. Now all I have to do is walk through the forest behind my house and get to school can't be to hard right?. I take a step forward and a sharp pain in my head appears and an image comes into my head,
