A deal with the queen

I close the bedroom door behind me, and take a look around. I am  standing on the left side of a long white marble corridoor with a huge stair case in the middle of it, and a crafted railing alongside it.

I walk onto the staircase where I get a clear view of how huge this place is, as I realise I am only on the third ground  which actually has five floors altogether. The main floor that catches my eye though, is the bottom where there is a huge room with three big doors with fancy swirly golden patterns engraved on them. The door at the front of the room is being guarded by a boy that looked about  the age of twenty. The boy had short brown hair that styled him nicely ,pale skin, ocean blue coloured eyes,and looked pretty fit for his age. Above the boy's head is a huge crystal like chandaleir  that is twice the size of the one that was in the room I stayed in. I caustiously walk down the stairs towards the boy, now that i am near him I see that he is extremley attractive  and i then realise that this is the second hot boy i've seen in what two days?, wait i dont even know how long i was knocked out for it could of been a week for all i know. 'The boy then looks up and smiles he is so cute that I end up smiling back and I hear myself saying

" um my name is Jade and I have to meet Laura in the courtyard would you know where that is?

" I know who you are jade and yeah i can point you in the right direction, my names Flynn by the way" Flynn holds out his hand and I shake it nervously no boy has ever shaked hands with me and most boys don't  even give me a second look so a cute boy talking to me is basically a miracle.

I try to sound confident as I say " How exactly do you know my name? Flynn" Basically everybody in the castle knows your name your like famous here, didn't  you know that''  he replies with a confused expression on his face.

" uh yeah I say confused , can you kinda give me directions now".

"Right sorry okay,  the quickest way is to go through that door on the left and you will then find the kitchen just keep on walking until you find the door at the end of the room then you will be at the courtyard, sorry I can't really help you anymore I have to guard the entrance".

'' Thanks for the help" I mumble. 

"Well  I'll see you around Jade"  He yells after me but I just keep on walking I don't want to make friends in this place I just want to get out of here and be back at home where Joel and Stewart are the only boys who talk to me.

Once I go through the door I am gawking at the giant modern kitchen I am standing in. The first thought that goes through my mind is where the hell are the cooks?, but that thought vanishes as I see the door at the front of the room and I quickly walk towards it and leave the deserted kitchen behind.

As I close the kitchen door I look around and see Laura sitting on a bench across the courtyard under the huge oak tree I saw in my vision. I walk towards Laura and as I am a few feet away she looks up her hazel eyes looking at me like a tiger watching it's prey. I don't think I have ever felt so intiminated in my entire life.

I sit on the bench across from Laura and feel quite uncomfortable as her judging eyes look over me. I take a look at laura who has long black hair pulled sensibly into a plait that goes down her back, pale skin like Flynn, and her tallness makes me feel quite vulnerable.

After what felt like hours of silence Laura speaks " I assume you know who I am".

''Yes'' I reply in my shaky voice.

''Although you do not know that I am queen of this castle and revolution"

''No, I was not aware of that"

" Look I don't have all day so I'm going to get to the point, you are hear bcause of your gift. You are becomeing the age when your power is getting strong and you need to leave the human society and join the society of the enchase. This society is filled with people like you half human half gifted with a power that humans could only desire. Although this is not the only reason you are here, your gift is unique we have never had anybody like you before. Jade I will not go through every thing today but I will tell you the basics, our society was once equal and one, until the day that a very powerfull woman named Aretta decided that she did not agree with our society's rules. Aretta wanted to destroy the human race and eliminate weakness, Lets just say Aretta wanted to make a new dark society were she has power to decide peoples fate. Aretta had made a secret organisation which many people joined they called themselves the extinguish, they believe that they have started a spark to stand up to our society. Aretta and the extingush betrayed us and  ended up attacking this very castle. Many of the enchase died that night including my mother. Jade your power can help us see into Aretta's thoughts and feelings and much more, we can train you to become extremley powerful here at our acadamy and in return you can help us stop this war for good."

I look into Lauras eyes they are completly calm, I know my eyes probally look nervous I don't know how she can pull that face. Thousands of thoughts are going through my head at the moment but I know it's my turn to speak so I demand with as much confidence as  can  "I'm not considering or doing anything until I get some more answers".

Laura's facial expression then changes into a very unfriendly looking smile and says " alright Jade I like challenges lets have a round of truths I ask you a question and you ask one back and we stop when I feel as though I have got enought answers, deal?'

I stare coldly at laura and say "you've got your self a deal", and as I look up at Laura's icy grin I feel like I have made a deal with the devil.
