Little Lily

Lily! Baby c'mon wake up!

I open my eyes to see my dad crouched down next to my bed while wearing a bright smile.

Morning my little princess! Says dad cheerfully while taping his pointer finger to my nose.

Morning. I reply sleepily

Okay get ready for school! Dad says as he gets up and exits my room.

I got to a muggle school and when I turn twelve I will begin a t hogwarts

I get up to see that my mother has yet against taken it upon herself to pick out my clothes.

Ugh! I love my parents but they treat me like I'm a little baby I mean c'mon I'm ten years old I can pick out my own clothes.

I get up and put on what mother laid out for me to wear which is a denim skirt that goes to my knees and ruffles out at the bottom and has pink green and yellow flowers embroidered on the front and back pockets. Paired with a light pink shirt that has the same embroidered flowers on the front of the shirt.

Really I think my mother is trying to pick out the most babyish outfit ever for me today.

I walk down stair and see a plate of toast waiting for me so I take my seat and begin eating it.

My brothers are already there and I stay silent as they fight about something; I'm to tired to care about right now.

When in done I put my plate in the sink and go to walk up stairs but mother stops me first.

How's my little Lily this morning? She ask happily.

Good. I reply with a small smile.

C'mon let me do your hair. She say as she takes my hand walks me to couch.

She parts my hair straight down the middle and puts my hair in two high piggy tails.

Awww you look so cute Lily bug! Says mother smiling down at me.

Goodness gracious I look like a two year old right now.

Aww look at the wittle baby! Says my older brother James as he punches both my cheeks. I quickly retaliate and smack his hands away and scowl at him.

Knock it off James she is still a little girl! Says mother.

Now I'm even more annoyed!

I'm not a little girl!! I say to mother a bit harshly.

Oh I know your right your big girl Lilly bug!

The way she says it sounds like she's talking to a three year old.

I nod my head walk upstairs to get my backpack And brush my teeth.

When I come back down stairs I see my father waiting by the door.

Hey Lil I'm taking you to school you all set? Says father

Yup. I reply. I hate it when father drives me to school he always embarrasses me!!!
