Interference

David

Only a couple of months until our one year anniversary. David is so excited and can't wait to celebrate. I guess I'm excited to, but feeling guilt at the same time.

I'm gonna tell you a little about me and David....

We met at Gabbie's "I hit 1,000,000 subscribers" party. We were both just two awkward teens who weren't allowed to drink. I saw him in the corner talking to Alex. He looked like the guy who didn't care about what anybody thought about him. I couldn't stop staring at the dark clothes he wore. Gabbie came over waving her hand in front of my face chanting my name.
"Liza..."
"Yes!" I replied.
"What are you staring at?"
"Huh?" I said still staring at the tall guy dressed in black.
"Are you staring at David?"

I came back to reality for a few seconds
"David?"
"Yes David..." she said.
"Is that who he is?" I said pretending like I didn't know what she was going on about.
"Yeah...."

David turned and looked at me while Alex whispered something into his ear looking at me too. We all made an awkward eye contact. I quickly turned back to Gabbie. As I turned I saw her lip reading something to Alex and used the 'come over here' signal with her hands. I hit her arm, "What are you doing!" 
"Well I'm signalling Alex, to tell David man up and come to talk to Liza," Gabbie said smirking.

I didn't know whether to thank her or yell at her. Turns out I didn't say anything because I was to busy freaking out at the fact that David and Alex were walking right over to me and Gabbie.
"Hey Gabbie," David said.
"Who's your friend," Alex followed.

Gabbie raised her voice a little "She's not just a random friend Alex, she's a famous viner."
"Uh ha," I nervously laughed.
David quickly turned and looked at me with a smile. I smiled back and ask for his name. 'David was a simple a name' I thought to my self.

After a couple of minutes it seemed easy to talk to David. I was calmed down knowing that he wasn't as uncomfortable like before. Gabbie left to go find Zane and Alex to get a drink. David and I were left together.
"So your a viner?" He asked.
"Um yeah I am..."
"Me too!" David energetically screamed.
David seemed like the exact guy I guessed he'd be.
"How many followers?" I asked with a small smile and squinted eyes.
"Well I don't mean to brag but uh, I have 4k."
"Ha! That's nothing." I bragged.
"Oh yeah..what do you have!?"
"I ah have 9k." I said poking my tongue out and polishing my shoulder with my hand.
"WHAT! You reckon you could shout me out." he shrugged.
"Your gonna have to earn it." I raised an eyebrow.
"Oh yeah, how?"
"Give me a ride home?"
"What not now?"
"Well it is 3."
"Already! Fine I'll give you ride."

We were the last ones to leave the party and before I knew it we were outside of my apartment.
"I had a good night tonight.." David said to me.
"Me too," I said as Davids face lit up.
"Me, you and Gabbie should meet up sometime soon."
"Yeah that sounds like fun!"
"Nice, see you around then."
"See ya." I waved as his car took off.
