"Thank you, Moon!"

"That's not my name." The child, "Moon" or Jonathan, muttered to himself as yet another mortal ran back to their own home with another few of his created stars.

Jonathan sighed in sadness as he was left alone again in his spot in the forest. Ever since he was found by some villagers years ago, He was forced to stay in one place so that it would be easy for the villagers to find him.

Jonathan laid down on the stump he was standing on and stared at the empty void above him. He was bored out of his mind since he wasn't allowed to move and play with anyone. He was a god of sorts but he is also just a child after all.

Jonathan started to create star after star as if to place them up the sky. He was so focused into that, he didn't realize how much he had created or the presence of the other child that was watching him.

After the very young god seemed satisfied with his work, he suddenly took notice of the other person next to him. Jonathan scrambled to sit up and look at the small stranger next to him, who seemed to giggle at his actions.

The child was a small boy like Jonathan, himself, but the boy looked a little older than Jonathan and there was something about the boy that isn't very "human" . Jonathan has a kinda faint glow that surrounds him (that's how the villagers found out he was a god) while this boy has a very bright one and something warm also radiates from him.

"Who are you?" Jonathan asks as the other child giggles again.

"I'm your partner! People call me Sun but I prefer Evan." The boy, Evan, introduced, reaching his hand out.

Jonathan looked at the hand a bit cautious but accepts it eventually. Warmth spreads across his body and he felt as if he glowed a bit brighter than before.

"I'm called Moon but I like Jonathan better." Evan smiled at the other's acceptance and helped him stand up but not letting go of Jonathan's hand.

"That was cool with what you did with those light thingy! Mine are too heavy and can't even float. It also can also hurt if humans aren't careful enough. See." Evan produces something from his free hand. It looks like a star but more orange and heat radiates from it as well. He took his hand from beneath it and the thing just fell on a stone before vanishing and leaving some black mark and a trail of smoke. "Humans called it fire." Evan explains and Jonathan nods silently, his mind stuck on Evan's praise.

"Y-you really think my stars are cool?" Jonathan asks and Evan nods. "Stars? Is that what they call your light? If that's so, Yeah!"

Jonathan blushed slightly and Evan gives a bright smile again. "Anyway, D'ya want to play?" Evan asks. Forgetting why he was supposed to stay there, Jonathan nods before he was tugged by Evan towards the forest to play.

No doubt the villagers were frustrated to find out that Moon was not by his stump. They fear that he was gone and that soon light would again disappear. That's why they were so relieved to find him back in his spot asleep after a while. They were surprised about the other boy with him though.

Evan was wide awake when the villagers found him and Jonathan back at the stump. He had the other boy's head on his lap while he sat up straight. Evan looked up at the humans and held up a finger to his mouth, indicating for them to stay silent.

The villagers nodded in understanding before leaving the two boys alone. Evan looked back to the other child, seeing a small content smile on his pale face. Evan grinned at the sight and let Jonathan sleep while he stayed awake.
