The alarm in my room went off rather rudely. I turned it off and I got out of bed and walked over to my closet to get out my outfit and towels. Once I had all my stuff I walked into my bathroom and turned the temperature to Lukewarm. I got in the shower and started cleaning my body. Once I finished washing my hair and body I wrapped a towel around my body and walked over to the mirror in my bathroom. My blowdryer was already plugged in so I turned it on and started drying my hair. I let my hair be curly like I usually do and changed into my outfit.
I walked back into my room and sat at my vanity to do my makeup. I quickly finished and then grabbed my phone and then walked downstairs and out the door. I got in my car and drove to Starbucks to get something to drink. I got a Salted Caramel Mocha then sped out of the drive-thru and into the park's parking lot. I got out of my car and headed towards my friends, they knew what I was.
I went to sit on swing lost in a trance trying to figure out what my parents wanted to talk about. They say it's a good thing but were not really on the same page when we say 'good'. I walked back into the parking lot and got in my car to go for a drive around the town. My mom and dad wouldn't be back until 3 o'clock so I had time to spare. I drove to a hill that overlooked all of Las Angeles and got out my easel, canvas, paintbrushes, pencils, and paints. I set everything up on the hill and put my headphones on and shuffled my playlist.
I started out by drawing lightly on the canvas and then got my paints out. I closed my eyes and let the brush move freely stopping every now and then to change the colors. Once I finished this ended up being the finished product:
I was quite proud of my work and let it sit on the easel to dry. To pass the time I went back to my car and got spray paint out and tagged 3 different trees. The painting still wasn't dry so I went to sit on the roof of my car and look at the sky. By the time it dried it was ten minutes before three. I put the easel paints and other stuff in the trunk then put the painting in the backseat just to be safe.
I got home to see my parents' car in the driveway. I got out of the car and brought the painting with me. When I walked into the living room, my parents were talking quietly and then stopped once they noticed I was in there too. I sat down directly in front of them and looked at them.
"We got another Job offer and we want to take it," they paused, taking my silence as go ahead they continued," It's in Forks, Washington". I gave them a 'what the hell look'.
"Now before you say anything, the only reason we are doing this is because an old friend of ours is there. And he has his own coven there".
"When do we leave"? I asked them.
"Next week but we would have to get school supplies now or tomorrow". My mother told me.
"We could go right now". I said to her. She nodded and I got up to go to her car. She soon was in the drivers and we were off to Home Depot.
We were there for a couple hours and bought quite a lot of stuff. As far as my mom told me they've been planning this for a couple weeks and the school already has my schedule ready.
When we got home it was around 3:00 and the whole family was wide awake. We don't sleep, my mom and dad are just vampires. But apparently, I'm what people would call special. With all my different genes my vampire side is the most dominant.
I carried the bags up to my room and just stared at the stars.
