You ran.

You kept running away from your parents, tears stinging your eyes. You tried to forget what happened earlier. You kept trying to forget what happened earlier, but it was no use. Your thoughts drove you away from reality as you stopped running. It started to rain. Raindrops started to fall rapidly, but you just stood there. Not knowing the surroundings around you. The peaceful raindrops made you relax in your own mind, you didn't realize you were humming a song. The song was simple yet effective whenever you're in a state like this. The title-the word, rather, was always been foreign to you ever since you were born. "Home". The song called "Home" just automatically played when you just ran away. The soothing voice has calmed you down when...

"Hi there~" the glitchy voice said, he sounded far from you...I think. Snapping yourself out of your thoughts, you quickly ran. You blindly ran like a curious and scared kitten. No no no no no not now, not today. You thought. You can't deal with this nightmare again, most specially in a situation like this? This voice has been haunting you for months now. But he would come in different figures, forms when he would pop up in one of your dreams. He would be sometimes look like a rabbit, sometimes a human, sometimes a black ooze or something. But he's usually just a black silhouette with some glitches. He annoyed you, and you didn't mind. You thought it was nice to listen to someone else other than your nagging parents. Yes, you don't have any friends. You only do home school. Which you thought it sucks, knowing that you're suffering the all the homeworks on your own. The only (you thought) friend you have is this glitchy voice. You realized your life sucks, way more than you used to think. Your parents tear away the only thing you love; music. You wish you should just die—no, you wish to experience something worse than death. "Isn't that sad...? Need help?" The voice said. You stopped running. You just noticed the quite deep cut under your left cheek, it's bleeding bad.

You sighed in defeat. There's no way you're getting out of this one. "Fine...but what help can you give me?" Then a moment of silence. You groaned in annoyance, your head is just playing tricks on you. Soon, a portal of some sort appeared. It's like it's a portal splitting you from reality. A black skeleton with glitches wearing a black hoodie came out of the portal. He has red eyes and small yellow pupils, three blue lines was seen on each side of his face. It was connected from his eyes to the end of his face. He wore a red shirt and basketball shorts. He looked a little scary, but it's something you could see everyday rather than seeing your parents. Wait what? Well that was weird. You thought. He just stared at you with a confused expression.

"You're seriously asking for my help?" He said, his voice less scary. You could make his voice out as a deep yet charming one, just remove the glitchy voice. You have a good ear when it comes to listening. You snapped and nodded. You saw him scratched the back of his skull as he averted his gaze to the ground. "You know how the void works, right? Well, I live there and I guess you could stay—"

"Wait, seriously?" You cut him off, you were just kind of a little shocked. You realized tears still ran down your face, you quickly wiped them off with your jacket.

"Only in one condition; you have to follow whatever I'll say. No arguing. If you do, you're out" he said with a threatening voice. You thought for a minute.

"Yup, bad idea. Never mind, good bye!" You tried to run away, but blue strings held you. It wrapped itself, around your waist, your arms, your legs and your F/C soul. "Well crap..."

"Nope. You're coming with me in the void now...I realized I need you" he said as he dragged you with him in the void. Something was off when he said he needs you, you just groaned and thought you were such an idiot. You saw the void as you heard the portal closing like a zipper. You thought the void isn't that bad. It's really just empty and black, though you wanted it to be white. (You're not racist) But you honestly didn't mind. A couch appeared in front of you and the skeleton, he sat down in a lazy position (whatever you think a lazy position is for you).

"Aren't you gonna let me go?" You asked as you flinched in the strings. You floated—more like hung— in front of him, he carefully loosened the strings a little.

He shook his head. "The names Error Sans. Just call me Error though" he said, his eyes closed. You just hummed in response. "Well? Tell me your name. We can't stay as strangers forever"

You sighed. "Y/N L/N." You said. You continued to hum "Home". The song made you feel relax again, you admit that you feel a little nervous around Error at first. He is a little scary, you have to admit, but you can't just judge a book by its cover. You have to look in the contents first. Your humming was disturbed by someone snoring. You snapped back to reality and saw Error sleeping on the couch. You can feel the strings loosen as you were slowly put down on the ground. You shivered, you remembered your clothes are still wet. The strings are warm, yet they're very thin. You didn't understand why and how, all you want to do is to make yourself warm. You wrapped yourself with your arms and lifted your hood. Unfortunately, it did not help at all. Then, a stupid idea crossed over you. Is Error warm...? You thought. You shook your head and scolded yourself. You sat on the couch beside Error and glared at him. Nice way to treat your guest. You rolled your eyes. You still shivered. At this rate, I'll get sick. You didn't even think the void would be cold.

"Hey, sorry. I forgot you were here" Error said as he opened his eyes. For a moment you thought you saw concern in his eyes, but then you thought you were just seeing things.

Is it even a good idea if I stayed here? You thought. I've got nothing to do here...why can't I just think for even one second? You felt something warm wrap your shoulders. You snapped back to reality and saw Error's jacket hung on your shoulders. You gave in with the warmth as you sighed. The warm feeling is different, like a mother's gentle hug. For a skeleton who's a pain in the ass, he's kinda sweet. You thought. What did I just say? You wore the jacket, it was a little big. You could see only your fingers are sticking out of the sleeves. You lifted the hood, it made you a little sleepy.

"Hey don't think of things. I just don't want to get sick too" he said. Of course. You thought as you rolled your eyes. Why did I even think he would care? You thought you should at least thank him.

You were about to thank Error when you saw him looking at you with a blank expression." Um...what are you looking at?" You asked.

"The cut on your face"

You touched your left cheek.

Blood.

You flinched from the pain. You forgot about that. You heard Error snap his fingers, an aid kit appeared. He took it and toss it to you. You caught it and started rummaging inside, scared the cut might get an infection. You cleaned the cut with a clean cloth as you took the gauze. When you were done, you took some medical tape (I don't know what's it called and I also don't know how this works :P) and taped the gauze on the cut. You put the kit down and heard some snoring. You turned to a now sleeping Error. You just shrugged and tried to feel comfortable in your position. The problem is that you couldn't sleep. You hummed "Home again, but you made sure it was soft. You don't want a grumpy skeleton to greet you in the morning. Then you thought, when is morning? You shrugged as you slowly drifted to sleep.

Aye whassup!

How was that? Just asking. I'm not good at making character X reader books. My last one was pretty bad.

But I would appreciate it if you vote and comment! Actually, just knowing the readers enjoyed it is already okay for me.

Here's a spoiler!

"What?! What do you mean you don't know?!"

That's it! Updates will probably be slow. Sorry!

See you next time, my dear awesome readers!
