Chapter 8

My father arranged a meeting with me and Adam. Thank Satan he didn't ask why or something else. How could I tell him I was so irresponsible? So, Adam was at our place very soon, my father teleported him. We got into one of our big rooms where father parties with Hades and Grimmer, but I wasn't going to party. Not at all. I was sitting in a big red chair, where father usually sits and Adam walked into the door. I pointed at the black chair that was across me and he sat down, taking a deep breath. I prepared myself for what to say, but for a peculiar reason, I coulnd't mouth it. ''I want you to answer me few questions'' I began. Adam nodded. ''Explain to me who Sebastian is. Why is he related to you and that girl?'' I asked him and waited. Adam cleared his throat. ''The girl is called Katherine. Sebastian is her..ex'' he started saying. I was concentrating on his words. That seemed like an interesting story. ''Katherine is a friend of mine, for a long time. I didn't know Sebastian until he started dating her. She told me that they loved each other very much, he was making her happy, she was making him happy and all that..she had mentioned he had a troubling past which worried her, but she didn't stop loving him'' Adam continued. ''And what happened after?'' I asked, like a child, hearing a tale for the first time. Adam slightly chuckled. ''One time, she got into my house with tears in her eyes and a bloody nose. She explained Sebastian hit her'' he said. ''I was very overprotective with Katherine, I locked her inside my house and didn't let Sebastian see her until she felt better, and was sure about staying with him or breaking up. But then, she started wanting me, saying stuff like I'm the man of her life and she couldn't see it until now or something. This is why she had been all over me lately. But when we talked about this, she realised it was all because she was missing Sebastian, and was afraid of that gap her life had since she stopped seeing him. So, we agreed for her to tell him how she felt. He came to our place but Katherine couldn't stop wanting to seduce me'' Adam said and I just realised that this was because of me. ''I may be guilty there. I did a spell..'' I said, trying to act innocently though. ''I know. Sebastian couldn't even accept her crazy behaviour, so he looked into it, and somehow he discovered it was because of you'' Adam explained. I bit my bottom lip thinking everything. ''So, he made sure he'd know to what club you were going to, and went there to get with you. But obviously, it was because he wanted your books or something. So he could get Katherine out of what you did'' Adam said. ''How did he know I was there?'' I asked. I mean, had he been stalking me or something? ''He follows Satan's daughter on snapchat'' he answered. I just stood there wanting to hear more. ''And I was there because I followed him. And then what you know happened'' he added and clencned his fists appearing to be mad about what happened that night. I couldn't help but smirk. ''He stole your stuff and then came to my place without me knowing. He tried talking to Katherine but she couldn't listen cause of the spell. I got him out of the house anyway, and now he's propably trying to figure out how to cure her'' Adam finally said. I already knew that but he didn't know. ''Can I have some water?'' he asked. I laughed. He was talking for so long, I can't believe he didn't ask for it sooner. I snapped my fingers and made two glasses of whiskey appear on the table. ''Thank you'' he said and drunk fastly. Of course, he was shocked it wasn't water, but he drunk it all nevertheless. I laughed again. ''I know what we should do'' I said and got up from my seat and went to Adam. Without asking, I sat on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a passionate kiss. He held me tightly, with his arms around my waist. It was going to be a long night. I knew it. Maybe I would be partying afterall.
