We met in 6th period math class. I first noticed her because she was so pretty, and I couldn't make out any makeup on her. She had these eyes that could make you wonder if there were galaxies in them, hair that was a beautiful dirty blonde, and the face of an angel, softer than a new born babies. She was always cracking jokes and laughing non stop, her laughs were hilarious too. I never really talked to her even though I wanted to, until one day. On this particular day she said something super funny that made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. As I was laughing she was staring at me laughing at my red face...and then she smiled. Oh god this smile, its brighter than sunshine and full of joy, you couldn't help smiling when seeing it. I knew right then, she was going to be my friend.

We started talking more and more and became friends. We weren't close, but people always said that we were like twins. And then came a hard day for me. It was the anniversary of my aunts death, it was really hard for me because we were very close. Korra had texted me and asked what was wrong because I looked sad all day. As soon as I told her, she called me to make sure I was okay. We both opened up to each other and told each other things we never told anyone else. We talked, cried, and listened to each other, we stayed on the phone until we both fell asleep. It was amazing how well we understood each other.

Later on I invited her to my house, for a sleepover. We had a lot of fun, we laughed probably over a thousand times that weekend, I loved spending time with her. Going back to school after the weekend was interesting, we were now bestfriends. We had nicknames for each other, had inside jokes, a big connection, and everybody at school knew how close we were. And then, we started arguing. We had plenty of fights and "breakups", but we always worked them out because we missed each other. But, even though we fought hard and hurt each other, we thought we could make it better every time.
