Murder! Such a thing was unheard of in the weeping city, contrary to its name it was a very successful town everyone knew everyone, the families living in the weeping city had lived there for generations it was like nobody ever left, it was so far off from other towns that it was practically unheard of.
The weeping city had no tourist attraction and it wasn't particularly pretty with its deary trees and even more deary surroundings but the inhabitants where happy,it kept them safe from intruders and I would say weeping city is a bit hostile to strangers, although it was unheard of for anyone that didn't grow up there to crave living in my town.
The same town that protected and shrouded me was the same town that took away my life my brain refused to comprehend the fact that I was dying but death did come and it was inevitable.
I felt my body hit the water with a splash,at first I was paralyzed by fear,I was so afraid that I couldn't feel the biting cold and before I knew it I was under water, I tried to scream but that turned out to be a mistake, I ended up gurgling more water fear paralyzed me for a second I was unable to grasp the situation unfolding before me,who would have been so cruel as to push me into the water, they whole town knew I was hydrophobic, I hated no despised not being in control of my body,my heart thudded in an unsteady rhythm,I had never been so scared in my life.
Then that momentary period of fear passed and I began to fight for my life everything I had learned about swimming slipped through my finger,I tried to find the edge of the pool but was only met with more water,my dress was not helping it began soaking up water pulling me under,in an instant my fairytale night had turned into a scene from a horror movie in such a brief but moment.
I kept trashing about in a laughable attempt to swim but my red prom gown clung to me like a second skin pulling me under. The ruffles at the hem of the dress and the jewelries suddenly seemed to weigh a ton, this was supposed to be the happiest night of my life, this wasn't supposed to be the way I did end up,dead.
The laughter continually rang out please i begged silently in my head wishing anyone would be humane enough to help ,I wished I had taken my swimming classes seriously but swimming had never been for me its like deep down at the back of mind I knew it would be the end of me,the tears fell quickly and silently lost in the pool of water as I trashed about, it was a futile attempt.
I am no swimmer, I have never been,my lungs burned with lack of oxygen, but all i keep hearing was the sound of their mocking, their horrible laughter as the taunted me.
I thrashed around fighting hard with the last reserve of energy i had left and my best friend just stood aside watching me,watching me die each moment I came up I locked eyes with her willing her to help then suddenly she turned away, and was swallowed whole by the swarm of wasted teenage kids and the darkness moving out of sight until i could no longer catch a glimpse of her,my last chance at survival gone there was no use fighting anymore I had given up.
For the first time in my life i wondered what really awaited me in the afterlife that is if it really existed,i was scared but then the deed had been done,I finally gave up and breathed in a lungful of water,as the water flooded my lungs it hurt but I knew the pain would only last a while, I raised my fingers in one last attempt for help then thankfully everything was overcome by darkness finally I was free from the pain,it was peaceful.
