Juliet followed Faith and Jim from the room to the holodeck. Faith frowned. "Are you certain about this?" She asked to which Jim responded by nodding. Jim and Faith stepped in first, Juliet happened to be thinking about the home her and Jack has built together at the time and almost immediately the room changed into that property - the house was not large nor small and outside had a hill that lead to a swing set. Faith blinked twice before turning her head towards Juliet.
"Where are we?" She asked. Jim gasped in realisation. "Oh of course, Oliver spoke of this place once. This is home, his home and yours. He remembers it the same as you" he stated. Juliet seemed pleased that Oliver remembered the house the same way as her although rather curious about what she was going to be taught. "What's first?" She asked. Faith exhaled slowly. "Phasers" she answered. Jim nodded, he would give the two space with this part.
Jim took off down the hill immediately and seemed to be looking over the swing in absolute wonder. Oliver had called him odd once for asking about the past and what it looked like. Faith inhaled slowly pulling the phaser out of her pocket. "There's different settings, to stun and to kill. To kill is used rarely. The stunning is used most of the time" she stated. Juliet nodded her head taking in the words. "Did Oliver ever use one?" She asked.
Faith smiled slightly and shook her head. "No, he refused" she answered. She remembered hearing the first time he refused, it had been somewhat hilarious to her but annoying to others. He had said that their devices may have been helpful to them but not to him, he also called them toy guns. His age had shown truly then. Juliet raised an eyebrow. "Stubbornness?" She asked. Faith nodded her head. "Yes" she answered. "You and I need targets" she added. Juliet could see what she was getting at.
Elizabeth, Juliet's friend, she didn't know what had happened to her now, she wondered if she was still alive, anyway her friend had helped her animate something for a short amount of time. It had been used to help her figure out how to defend herself and it had worked. The animated contraption appeared again a few metres away from Juliet and Faith. Faith shifted pulling up the phaser calmly and firing from it stunning the contraption immediately.
"Got it?" She asked, Juliet nodded, taking the phaser from Faith. She inhaled slowly before she exhaled, firing from it, doing the exact same thing that Juliet had done. The contraption suddenly vanished. Jim came running towards them quite quickly. "Something is happening" he stated. Faith frowned. "Olly?" She asked to which Jim nodded. Heading down to the planet another explosion seemed to hit the ground rather quickly, Oliver was pulled to the side easily by a creature.
"How's your arm, Oliver?" The male creature asked. "Not there. The pain's gone. Listen we need to get to your people, we need the elders" he stated. The creature shook his head mind you the Harkness lad still couldn't see him. "If we do that he'll be angry" he stated. Oliver scoffed. "There's bodies dropping left, right and centre because they won't get along and the elders are tucked away somewhere. I don't care what he thinks. You asked for me help didn't you?", he asked.
The creature nodded. "Yes sir" he answered. The two took off in a run again, dodging bombs that were being dropped on them. Oliver was about to ask which way to go when his companion became impaled by an object that was much like a spear. Quickly he moved towards him, trying to pry it from his chest. "Sir, you must go ahead and find them" he commented gasping soon afterwards. Oliver shook his head. "Not without you" he stated.
The creature gasped again as Oliver lifted it slightly although it didn't seem to be budging from his chest. Oliver's hands were starting to get covered in his blood. The creature placed it's paws onto Oliver's, in a moment he blew on the Harkness lad's face causing his sight to return. Oliver looked down for a moment. "I don't know what to do" he commented. The creature gasped. "Go. Stop this war and find my father" he requested gasping again before he stopped moving, his eyes wide.
Oliver's eyes widened. "Noro?" He whispered but there was no answer. He knew what had happened, but he could not stop himself from feeling sadness or from letting a tear from his eye and letting it roll down his cheek. "That's enough. No more" he stated, closing the eyes of his departed friend before taking off. Back on board the enterprise Juliet's eyes widened. "What's happening?" She asked.
Jim inhaled slowly. "The war. Spock saw a glimpse of what happened, Oliver lost someone" he answered. Faith inhaled slowly. "Can we do something? Anything?" She asked. Jim thought for a moment. "Faith find your parents and get them to come to the conference room, Juliet with me, get Bones too" he stated. Faith took off from the holodeck. Juliet left the holodeck soon after, heading for the conference room. Juliet had no idea what he was thinking but she had an idea that Jim would want to help Oliver how though she had no idea and whether he would want help was another thing entirely.
