The song dropped on iTunes so you can buy it now and all that ish, Steve Lacy gonna be on that shit to, the album I think you can pre order now and that's it. OH SHIT, it's 5:40! My date in 10 minutes! I gotta go. Oh if you're wondering how I got a date, I'll tell y'all later, cause I gotta go.
Ruby's pov
I woke up and Syd was gone. Wait... I smell bacon...and french toast...SHE COOKED! Yes! Lemme go ahead and get down there so I can see what's going on.
*downstairs*
Ru: Good morning cousin.
Syd: good morning my love, how was the concert?
Ru: it was truly amazing, and when are you going to make my plate?
Syd: never.
I gave her that look I used to give her all the time when I wanted some food, I'll poke my lips out and squint my eyes at her until she gives me my plate of food.
Syd: ugh! Fine I'll do it.
Ru: thx, I love you.
Syd: I hate you to.
She smirked at me.
Ru: you ugly ass nigga.
Syd: that's not what my fans say to me on Instagram.
Ru: you talkin bout them thirsty girls.
Syd: yeah, whatever. Here's your plate.
Ru: yay! Food!

She chuckled softly as I began to dig in to my food. As I was eating I heard a three bangs on the door.
Syd: I'm coming, geez.
She opened the door. And two police officers were there.
Syd's pov
Officer #1: are you Sydney Bennett?
Syd: yes sir, what's the problem sir?
Officer #2: well, you're not in trouble OK, but you need to come with us.
Syd: sure, where are we going?
Officer #1: hospital, your mother is hurt and she wanted me to get you-
Syd: What!? Why didn't Travis call me?
My eyes started to water and a tear fell down my cheek.
O#1: his phone is broken and he needs a new one...badly.
Syd: put your shoes on Ruby, we're going to the hospital.
Ru: what happened?
Syd: it's your auntie.

I can't believe that my mom is hurt, and I think I know who did it too.

Ru: can you turn the radio up?
O#1: sure.
He turned it up, and I heard my song play on the radio for the first time ever.
Syd: my song...it's on the radio! OMG!
Ru: that's your ugly ass.
Syd: shut up... but I hope mom is OK.
Ru: yeah me too... I forgot about that date today with Ty, shit! Excuse me what time is it?
Both officers: 2 o'clock
Ru: OK, and are we there yet?
Syd: yes, we are.

I walked into the room to see my mom, mentally and physically hurt.
Syd: momma what happened?
I said as I ran up to her.
SM: I don't know, all I did was go in the kitchen, make some food, and fell asleep on the couch. Then woke up here with bruises on my body.
