-------------------CRISTIAN'S POV---------------
We walk in to class and most of the girls start looking at my and I don't even know why.
I don't know if because I got light brown hair and electric blue eyes just like Starr's or what I don't know I'm really confused.
Oh and also the teacher ain't here. We wait a while and then King K walks in with his guards.
"Good morning peasants. It's me your beloved king." Says the king
I can't help but wonder what,s going through Starr's mind right now.
Then Davian irrupts my train of thought "beloved my ass" mutters Davian. Starr chuckles.
"Shut up or do you wanna get killed by the king himself."I whisper to him.
"I know,I know" King K says " your all wondering why I'm I here."
"Yeah. And how fast can you leave." Mutters Alan. Starr chuckles again. As I say "Do you have some kind of death wish bruhh?"
" I am here to tell you peasants that there is a wizard in the village." King K says. My heart almost skipped a beat.
But then I thought what? Does he expect that the villagers come get Starr and I . No I don't think so after how he treats us. What an idiot does he really thinks were that-
" Do you peasants even know what a wizard is?" He asks disappointed. I can here a few murmurs around the room" It what you peasants call 'magic users'."
A few kids gasp. Then king K says " Who ever finds this wizard is going to get the finest clothes and food that I have to offer."
The the room is filled with cheers.
King K then raises his hand and silence falls upon the room and then says" be on alert for the wizard peasants." And with that he leaves the room.
I try to sink in what just happen. But it's too much to handle. Then the teacher walks. He stumble from left to right I think he's drunk.
"Ya hear that!" He yells at the kids. " King K wants you to find the wizards." Then he laughs. I see Starr looking out the window. I think she's day dreaming, but I'm not sure.
Then the teacher comes over to Starr's desk and slams a ruler on the desk. Starr immediately snaps out if her day dream.
Then the teacher pulls her braid and says to her "I don't suppose you know any thing about these 'wizards ' Ms. Torres."
"N-no s-sir " says Starr. I could hear it in her voice.
She wasn't scared.
Alan was about to get up out of his chair to help Starr , but I grabbed his sweater and pulled him back down. He gives me a what-the-hell-look.
"Don't interfere you'll just get her in more trouble." I whisper to him. He just crosses his arms.
Then the teacher grabbed her braid again and says" sit in your chair and pay attention." She slightly nods and sits back down.
Starr is one of the strongest girls I know she almost never cries and can pack-a-punch. I remember once she got pissed at some thing and punched a hole through the wall.
I asked her if it hurt and she said it didn't even though her knuckles were bleeding. Once I remember my mum telling me when Starr was a baby about 3 or 4. A brick some how landed on both of her hands making them num.
So that probably why she doesn't feel pain in her hands. Or at least her knuckles.
Her pretty braid is now all messed up. I tap her shoulder. She turns around and gives me a reassuring smile.
---------------6 HOURS LATER----------------
After class we get our skate boards and skate home.
I'm following Starr and she's going so fast it's get hard to catch up with her. By the time she slowed down I was panting.
" Starr!" I panted "Starr!" I panted "Starr!Slow down what's the big rush all about?" Then she whispers "I'll tell you when we get home. I nodded.
When we got home I as literally out of breath. Then Starr went and got our old worn out back packs.
Then she started backing our belongings.
"Starr"I asked
No answer
"Starr? What are you doing ?" I asked
"What does it look like I'm doing ?I'm packing?!?!" She angrily
"Why?" I ask "where? Where are we going?"
"We're going to a guild close by here I forgot the name of it but any way were going to escape the living hell!!!" She yells
"Why?"
"Because Christian they've found us I knew this would happen sooner or later. We have to leave it they're kill us!!" She exclaims.
"But if we leave we might die out there." I question.
" look the guild isn't very far from here." She says "Are you telling me your not going?"
"No. No I am going." I say
Starr zips up the two back pack and says "Good. Now get some rest tomorrow's gonna be a long day."
