Belle's arms met cold liquid, and her head went in millisecond's later. She felt water envelop her feet next, until she was fully out of the room.

Now, Belle had a few problems. Firstly, she didn't take a breath before jumping into the mirror, for she didn't expect to find herself in something resembling water by texture and thickness.

Secondly, she couldn't swim.

Belle opened her eyes in pure terror as she flailed her arms around, already feeling her chest burn at the loss of air.

She could see that she was definitely in water, and it seemed to be a pool.

Her eyes stung from the excessive amount of chlorine, and she tried to figure out which way to swim towards. Finally, she managed to recognize the tiles on the ground, so she turned herself the other way and tried recalling what her brother told her about swimming.

But the lack of air made her panic further, so she simply moved her arms and legs around frantically.

Those movements seemed to be work, and after a few seconds, Belle was making progress.

Too bad confidence doesn't give you any extra air, because that was what Belle needed.

Unable to control her body, Belle breathed in through her nose. Water flooded inside, and Belle immediately lost all control and confidence she had as terror engulfed her.

She attempted to cough as she closest her eyes, but even more water came in.

She didn't want to die. She felt an urge too get her bear, and she clung onto that thought as she failed her arms and legs around.

She had a feeling that something bad would happen if she didn't get Mr. Rose back. It was something about Mrs. Johnson that made her think so.

Surprisingly, the young girl's thoughts were more rational than ever in this horrible situation she found herself in.

As if rewarded for her conclusions, she felt one of her arms go out of the water.

Her consciousness began to slip away slowly and her lungs were tired, but a new hope rose inside of her. She summoned all her strength as she pushed her body out lf the water.

And she could finally breathe. The first thing she did, however, was open her eyes and cough while she fought to keep herself above the water. Her vision was still blurry, but she could see the edge of the pool within her reach, so she extended one of her arms and grabbed onto the cold tiles.

After filling out her lungs with fresh air, she felt exhausted. The place was so quiet. Only the ripples she created by swaying slowly were heard.

She looked around. She seemed to be in an indoor pool- maybe a school pool, judging by the signs she could barely see through the darkness. She pushed herself out of the water, feeling uncomfortable at the lack of sound. It was too quiet.

The only light she could see was coming from an open door on the other bank of the pool. But Belle was so tired.

The young girl shivered- her clothes were wet and she was cold. She stood up and looked around, noticing that the open door had a bathroom sign above it. The only thing she could see inside was yellow light and a sink. The rest was hidden from her sight, but pool bathrooms usually had hair driers. Maybe she could dry herself there!

Feeling extremely happy that she found a solution to one of her many, many problems, the girl jumped up to her feet. She cringed at how loud her jump echoed, and shivers went down her spine. For some reason, she felt that she shouldn't be loud.
