It had been two years sense King Boomer and now Queen Kalani's wedding they have had one daughter named Violet and now Kalani was pregnant for there second child. King Brady and Mikayla have been in a relationship for two years protecting the island after saving the island two years ago he moved into the village with Mason and Mikayla and living a much less kingly lifestyle training with Mikayla every day. One day Brady was sitting alone smoking some Troli when Mason walked upon him. "Brady? What are you doing?!,"Mason asked. "Oh crap! Busted. Mason I didn't see you there!," Brady replied nervously. Mason sighed and sat next to him. " I can you your stressed, tough day?,"Mason said taking the Troli away from Brady and putting it out in the sand. Brady pulls out another and lights it. " I see it has been a very tough day my king. Do you want to talk about it?," Mason asked. " She said no....again.," Brady said sadly. "Again? Brady I am sorry.,"Mason said. " I don't get it we love each other why won't she say yes Mason? Your her dad, please explain to me why she won't marry me.," Brady asked. " I really don't know but getting high is not the answer my king. ," Mason said taking the Troli cigarette and tossing it and stomping it in the sand. " I just don't get it we love each other, I have changed so much I have been training with the guards and read the Great Book from cover to cover. I have asked her four times and every time is more romantic but still she has said no and it is the same thing "I Love You Brady But No I Will Not Marry You I Can't Marry You. Please Try To Understand This" and I can't understand it. Why can't she? Is it me? ,"Brady sighed. " All I can think of maybe it's because of her mother. See when she was born her mother died in childbirth she has always blamed herself my king. I think she is scared.,"Mason replied. "I think so too.,"Brady replied.
Meanwhile Mikayla was on a boat sailing over to Lanada sad and thinking about her and Brady's fight they just got into. Feeling the wind blowing through her hair and the warm air touching her face made her feel relaxed. Finally she made it over to Lanada and walked up the castle steps to see Lanny and a young girl hugging them she realized that the young girl was Ameri. Shocked by how much she had aged she walked up to Lanny. "Mikayla how nice to see you, I see your surprised with how fast Ameri has aged.,"Lanny smiled. "Aw yeah...I was just here last week she was no more then two she looks like she is nine. What's going on?,"Mikayla asked. "It's simple she is half mermaid and a quarter light magic being and quarter dark being, mermaids age quickly she will never look old but her mind will grow wise with age.,"Lanny explained. "Oh well I am here because I need to talk to you...alone.,"Mikayla said. "Hmm Glinda! Can you take Ameri to the strawberry patches? We are to collect them and take them to the village for the strawberry festival.,"Lanny asked loudly to Ameri's maid in waiting. "Yes sire, the honor guards wanted me to tell you that the lantern are ready for tonight as well.,"Glinda explained. "Good. Now on your way. I love you daughter have fun.,"Lanny said kissing her on the cheek. "I will father.,"Ameri smiled and she took Glinda's hand and they walked out of site. " Mikayla... why are you here?,"Lanny asked her as they walked up the steps. "I need you to take away my nightmares. And a curse. I need you to put them in the pool of reflection. The nightmares. An the the curse I need you to take it away remove it. Please.," Mikayla revealed. "I can take away the nightmares which as you know could be visions warning you. The curse I didn't even know you had till now.,"Lanny replied. "But I don't understand you can see past and future why didn't you see mine?,"Mikayla asked. "I can but I won't do it without your permission it's wrong to know someone else's past and future without asking first. So I cast a spell on myself I can only see if they say it's okay. What are these visions your having or nightmares your having?,"Lanny said as he prepared the reflection pool. "Well it's pretty clear me and King Brady get married and on our wedding day as soon as his lips touch mine he turns to stone what's worse is that I am pregnant but not knowing it at the time, 09 months pass and me and my daughter die in childbirth a very bloody and painful death. I think...I was cursed when my mother give birth to me. Brady has proposed four times and every single time I have said no and I love him and I wanna marry him and give him kids. Please help me.,"Mikayla begged. "Wow that is one hell of a curse it sounds very strong magic. This curse could be something bigger then you it could involve the other kings. Have you told Brady?,"Lanny asked. "No. I didn't know how too not only that I am not sure if they are visions or nightmares.,"Mikayla replied. "Well they sound like visions. If there real, we are dealing with very dark magic and strong dark magic. What's puzzling is why you? Your only part of the guard. Not to sound mean but your not royal but maybe the curse has a special twist to it anyone who is close to the royal family and in royal court is affected. The reflection pool is finished. Sit.,"Lanny said picking up his wand and having Mikayla sit down. "Now this may feel a little strange but sense there nightmares it won't hurt you may even be able to calm down. Once there in the reflection pool you and I will be able to see them. Then I will know if they are what is to come.,"Lanny said. "Wait! Father wait!,"Ameri said rushing into the room. "Daughter what is the meaning of this? Where is Gilda she is supposed to be watching you? You see that I am very busy with Mikayla.," Lanny asked. "Father it's a curse. It's a royal curse, it was never supposed to happen to commoners.,"Amer explained. "How do you know this?,"Lanny asked. "Follow me.I'll show you.,"Ameri said extending her hand to her father. They walked up the grand staircase to Ameri's bedroom and inside her room on the balcony was a reflection pool. "You have been removing your memories?,"Lanny asked. "Yes father but...they are not my memories. They are visions of the past. Do you wish to see them or I can just tell you.,"Ameri said. "Why don't you just tell me and we will look after.,"Lanny said sitting next to her. "25 years ago Uncle Boomer and Uncle Brady's mommy and daddy thought there was a lot of bad people doing magic on the island. One of the meanest people was lady name Babasheeda she hurt a lot of people with her magic and loved doing it. One night Babasheeda got mad because the village kicked her out and made her live on the beach so she burned down the village from fire from the sky with her magic. It hurt a lot of people some of them even died. The next day Uncle Boomers daddy and mommy said that magic was forbidden and had Babasheeda arrested. The guards brought Babasheeda to the king and queen to answer for all the bad stuff she did. The pregnant queen told her that she will burn for her crimes and sentenced her to die but Babasheeda had other things in mind. So she set a powerful curse for the queen when her twins where born they would die and she would too. Any royal person of the court and pregnant mother will also die. Then Babasheeda escaped. Fearing for the babies and her life she called a local mage someone of light magic your mommy Mikayla. The most powerful light magic mage in the village. Your mommy worked very hard to remove the curse and she did it by sealing the curse in a crystal heart. The kingdom was safe. But there was one more thing your mommy had to throw the crystal heart in the ocean. When she reached the beach she went to throw it in....and Babasheeda stopped her and knocked her to the ground a fight ensued. Your mother stabbed her in the heart with a crystal dagger the only thing on the island that can kill a magical being but at the same time Babasheeda managed to get the crystal heart and she dropped it on the rocks and it smashed and the curse went into your mother. Your mommy was pregnant with you due at anytime she went into instant labor. Babasheeda escaped. As your mommy laid there dying and magic fading she used the last of her magic to save you. Your daddy found you in her arms. She had already.....,"Ameri explained. "I know, I know.,"Mikayla said wiping away tears from her face. "Even thought she managed to save you the curse was transferred to you and what's worse the curse still has effect on the royal family and court, on the children born. The second child shall die as will the mother and the first child born to the first who where originally cursed will only become weaker and more ill and they will die on there tenth birthday. The father will die from heartbreak shortly after. Understand as for I being a quarter dark magic I can remove the curse from your body but it will not be easy after it is done only I can throw the crystal heart in the ocean. Babasheeda is still alive, she knows that there are remnants of curse on your island and she knows that someone is carrying the curse in there body. She will know when it is out and who carries it. No protection spell will protect me.,"Ameri explained. " Even if you remove the curse Ameri there is still a curse in play for the royal family, what is protecting us? We are a part of the royal family.,"Lanny asked. "Father I am going to remove the spell you cast on yourself you need to see the past and the future...our future.,"Ameri said placing her small hand across his face and soon as she did his eyes grew wide and big tears fell down his cheeks. "No! I won't let it be! Your are my child. She won't even die!,"Lanny yelled. "But it is my destiny father. I am nine my birthday is tomorrow I will be ten.,"Ameri said. "There has to be a way to defeat her and remove every bit of that curse....completely.,"Lanny replied. "There is, but is not an easy task. Many have died trying to get there and only the purest of heart and virtue can complete it.,"Ameri explained. "
"What is it?,"Mikayla asked. Ameri walked over to her reflection pool and sat down and looked in. "Come. I will show you.,"Ameri said. Lanny and Mikayla walked over and sat next to Ameri and Lanny held her hand and they looked in. "It is called the diamond heart the purest form of light magic. It is protected by a great beast. Once the chosen one touches the diamond heart the magic will absorb into her making her the most powerful light magic person in the world. She will be able to easily be able to defeat Babasheeda.,"Ameri explained. "So who is it? Can you show us?,"Mikayla asked. "Yes, her name is Sarah she lives in a kingdom under the sea just off the coast of Mindu. She is a mermaid., " Ameri said. "So we will have to find her? That shouldn't be too hard. Ameri? Ameri are you okay?,"Mikayla asked. "Father...I am weakening already the curse is taking place....I must lie down. Can you carry me to bed?,"Ameri asked weakly. Lanny picked her up and placed her in bed and covered her up just as Amazonia was walking into the bedroom. "How is she?I felt her suddenly grow weak. Her life force is draining quickly. What is happening to our daughter?,"Amazonia said rushing to her bed side. It is a curse if we don't remove it quickly she will die.,"Lanny explained. "I don't understand whatever curse this is it shouldn't effect Ameri she is half mermaid the only thing that can weaken a mermaid is a krakens ink. Mermaids are magical beings this makes no sense.,"Amazonia explained. "Buts she's a hybrid half human half mermaid a curse is a curse. Let's leave her to rest. Let's talk. Outside.,"Lanny said. They walked out of Ameri's room and Lanny explained to her exactly what was going about the curse and the royal family's past and why Ameri was sick. "Ameri won't die, but she will be bedridden till the curse is lifted it is her mermaid bloodline keeping her alive the only thing.,"Lanny said. "Lanny is this the real reason why you left me? The curse. Because I wanted more children and you knew this and you thought I would die and thought our future child would die? So you told me we where growing apart and wanted a divorce?,"Amazonia asked. " Yes. I saw your death you died in child birth but I didn't know why. Right before I left before I left to send my mother away when I kissed you I saw it. I tried to move afterwards but I couldn't there is only one woman who has my heart. You.,"Lanny said grasping her hands gently and giving them a light squeeze. "I never stopped loving you. You will always be my guppy I fell in love with the moment I met you my heart will always be yours.,"Amazonia replied giving him a kiss on the cheek. "No offense this is great you guys getting back together but we have to get back to the kingdom like now. We have to tell Brady and Boomer what's going on. Queen Kalani is due to have her second baby anytime.,"Mikayla explained. "I don't know, I can't leave the strawberry festival is today. It's a Lanada tradition. I am supposed to bless the farmers crops and there is so much to do. If I am not there or Ameri isn't there they will know something is up. It will scare them. I know getting rid of the curse is important but I do not want my kingdom in a panic.,"Lanny explained. "Darling can I give you some advice?,"Amazonia asked. "Yes anything will help.,"Lanny replied. "Why don't you make a royal proclamation? Tell them that Ameri is ill. That the strawberry festival wouldn't be be the same without Ameri there. If they ask how she has become ill tell them you have the best doctors observing her and you will know soon and the illness was sudden. When she is better the festival will be back on. If the farmers ask what they are going to do with the strawberries they have already harvested tell them to give them the vineyards to make a celebratory wine to celebrate when the festivities resume.,"Amazonia suggested. "That's is a wonderful idea. Guards! Send out the village that I announcement to make everyone in the village. Go at once!,"Lanny ordered. "Yes sire!,"The Guard said leaving immediately. Lanny waited an hour sitting at Ameris bedside with Amazonia until the guard came in. "Sire, my queen, the village is ready....sire is that the princess? Is she okay?,"the shocked guard asked Lanny seeing Ameri's condition. "She is very ill, she will get better soon. Thank you for asking Thomas.,"Lanny said. Lanny walked out of Ameri's room with Amazonia and Mikayla following behind and walked out to the balcony where down below all his subjects where looking at him. "Today was supposed the day of honored beloved strawberry festival where we honor the fruits of our harvests and celebrate our hard working farmers who labor all year long to bring us a bountiful harvest. But due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances we will have to postpone our festivities. See my daughter, your princess has fallen gravely ill needs a cure we know where it is and we have to go get it it will make her better. For the farmers who have already harvested your crop of strawberries, please bring them to the local wine makers and you will be compensated for your crop you have brought there. Rose bearers, please do not harvest your bushels yet if some of you already have bring them to our perfume makers and you compensated. I apologize for the postponement none of you will lose anything if I missed something please bring your concerns to my royal advisory or your queen and you will be compensated. An within seconds they where in Kinkow on the beach where Brady was sitting on the beach smoking some troli . "Lanny....wow man what are you doing here? Mikayla.,"Brady asked. "Hello Brady, I have come here for your help. We need you once again. Lives are at stake. My daughters life and any children and mothers of the royal court including your brothers children and wife.,"Lanny explained. "The reason why Mikayla has said no to your marriage proposal because unbeknownst to her she was having visions, visions of her death, your death and your child's death. 25 years ago your mother and banished magic from Kinkow they made a terrible mistake a witch named Babasheeda set a curse cursing your mother to die Mikaylas mother removed the curse from her but died in the process to get rid of it and transferred the curse to Mikayla. Now Mikayla carries the full curse but the curse was more complicated then what they all thought it not only effected the queen and king but the royal court and there are remnants of the curse still active. Your second nephew due to be born will die and so will the new queen. Any second child born to the royal court and its mother will die it is sort of the backside if the curse should be removed the from the original queen your mother.A second curse will be brought into effect that will effect the children and the royal court. Ameri is very sick the curse has already begun because me and Amazonia had no more children we are still part of the royal court she is a royal heir the only thing keeping her alive is mermaid blood that runs through her veins. The mermaids half in her is strong but the human in her is dying once the human DNA is dead, she will have to be transported the sea where she will be a full fledged mermaid she will never be able to leave the sea no magic can reverse it. Not even the kings of kinkow can turn her back.,"Lanny explained with tears in his eyes. "So what do we do?,"Brady asked. "We have to find a mermaid off the coast of Mindu her name is Sarah. She is the purest of heart and virtue only she can remove the curse by getting the diamond heart.,"Lanny replied. "Then we have to go to Mindu and talk to Boz he knows the mermaid colony out there, he was just telling me how he had signed a treaty with the King that rules off the coast there. "Okay let's go.,"Lanny said. An with a poof they had arrived at Mindu in the castle there was Boz sitting at his throne with a man standing next to him they where deep in conversation. "Boz? Who are these people? An one of them has strong magic I can feel it.,"the man said. "King Capernitus I assure you they are friends. Lanny,Brady,Mikayla? What are you doing here?,"Boz asked. "Boz it is a very long story. King Capernitus we are looking one of your subjects her name is Sarah, we need her help she is the only one who can save the Kinkow regions royal mothers and children from a great evil. Without her Kinkow is lost to Babasheeda a evil witch.,"Lanny explained. "I know of Babasheeda she is not only a land witch but for the last 25 years she has been a evil sea witch. Also I know of the Sarah you speak of the only mermaid who has a human name my daughter Princess Sarah named after her mother who was human. Babasheeda murdered her as well when she became due with our second child she died in childbirth my son also never survived. This must be the curse you have spoken of. I do not know how this diamond heart can stop her not even my mighty trident can stop her. The diamond heart you speak of I heard only of legend. How can my Sarah retrieve this? She is young and naïve. She has never stepped on land and knows nothing of her human heritage. I don't see how she can help you.,"the King explained. "My king I promise you she will be safe. She is the only one who can reverse the curse and stop the witch.,"Lanny pleaded. "Fine. I suppose you can keep her safe with your magic. Bring her here now, with your magic. As soon as her fin touches land she will have legs.,"the King sighed. An with a poof there was Sarah on the ground her tail disappeared. She had sparkling blue eyes and pink hair that went past her bottom and a small frame. "Daddy? Feet? Feet! Legs? Legs! Daddy I have legs and oh my god I have toes! Wait? What am I doing here? Where am I ? Whoa! I am surrounded by humans. Daddy you have legs too!? Awesome!,"Sarah said trying to stand up. The King walked over and helped her stand up. "Daughter you must listen now, you are going to travel with these humans to an island and retrieve a special artifact that will defeat the evil sea witch Babasheeda. You trident will protect you and guide your way.,"the king explained. "Wait Daddy what's going on? I thought you was arranging my marriage. To the king for treaty between our kingdoms? Now I have to go on a quest? I don't understand.,"Sarah asked puzzled. "Wait a minute, Boz your getting married? ,"Brady asked. "I was until now. You will still be married but not until you finish this quest.",the king explained. "So...your going to be my queen? It's so nice to meet you.,"Boz said standing up to greet her. "I have a question why can't you just poof us to the location it would go so much faster.,"Brady asked. "I tried that when we left Mindu because I blocked off so much of my magic of my true power my magic has weakened some. Right now the islands magic is much more powerful then mine. My full power should be restored eventually but as for finishing this quest quickly is just not an option.,"Lanny explained. They all started walking through the jungle it was very hot. "Hey new girl, Sarah right? Why are you really marrying my brother? You just met him and you are saying you want kids? Don't you think you should get to know one another before making kids? Don't mind me but I find it odd that you two are getting married to each other when you don't know each other.,"Brady said. "That is where you are wrong my king, ever sense we where born we where betrothed to each other. My father explained it to me, sense Boz was the first child to be born to the region of Kinkow he was to be my husband, but some things happened and Kinkow was split into four different regions. Mindu is King Bozs region, Lanada is King Lannys region, the Kingdom of the Kinkow is King Boomers region and flower island is your region. But you have not moved there. After your marriage to Princess Helena you was to move there and rule your people. Now it is a kingdom with no king it has been this way for three years. The villagers that live there are criminals and vagabonds. Drunks and beggars . You stay on brothers island hoping to rule and have peice of his kingdom but you have your own. I have grown to know Boz communications by seagulls of course but I know who I am marrying. Where you have a kingdom you care not to rule. So please do not comment on something you know nothing about. Maybe you should worry about your kingdom because your people are starving and crying for a king.,"Sarah snuffed and stomped past him. " Mikayla? What is she talking about? Flower Island? I have my own kingdom? Please tell me you didn't know about this.,"Brady asked. "No I had no idea, there is an island called flower island but trust me if I knew you had your own kingdom I would of told you.," Mikayla said. "Lanny? Are my people really starving?,"Brady asked. "Well not exactly, flower island is also known as another name. The island of thieves. It was called flower island because all the beautiful flowers there but any person who committed a crime in the kinkow region was sent there to live., Lanny explained. "Why would I get that island? The hardest one? How am I going to rule that place?,"Brady asked. "One thing at a time my friend let's finish this first. We have a long way to go.,"Lanny said staring up at the mountain through the trees.
