It was white. It was white everywhere. It was blinding and pristine. It was endless.
She had started walking at first, but as time seemed to pass she became unsure of if she was really going anywhere. There was no point of reference to tell her anything. She began to think about where she could be and how she got there. All she could remember before waking up was putting her head down at school.
She eventually just sat down and without anything to do or distract herself, she went to her thoughts and she stayed there. Hours could have passed but, she wasn't sure. Everytime she would come out it would feel like a few minutes had gone by but, the stiffness of her body said otherwise.
Her stomach growled repeatedly and would ache. She would absentmindedly open and close her mouth, convinced she could feel it get stickier and stickier with every second. She wanted to go home. She wanted to cry but, she couldn't anymore.
She laid on her side, exhausted and dizzy. She wondered if she died here what would happen to her body. Would anyone know? Going to sleep hadn't done her any good, but it was really all she could do. She realized that as her body was racked with silent and tearless sobs and fell asleep to a lullaby of crazed cackling.
