It was calm and quiet. The cool breeze adding to the pleasant weather. They knew it was the last time they were seeing each other for quite sometime, for they didn't know what fate had planned in their lives. They were really not sure if they would ever meet again. They had shared a really memorable summer but unfortunately the parting day was inevitable. She had become really important to him and so had he become to her. They started walking towards the bus station from where she would go back to her hometown. They knew it was going to be tough. Holding each other's hand, with her soft fingers in between his rough ones. They could feel each other's pulse. He was wearing a thick overcoat whereas she was looking pretty in her sleeveless top and her tanks. Suddenly lightning struck and the clouds started grumbling. They tightened their grip, feeling the increase in each other's pulse. It started raining cats and dogs. They didn't have an umbrella, for the rain was unexpected. It reflected the defiance of nature on them parting away from each other. She was all drenched, with water seeping into all possible places that it could within no time. She started shivering due to the chilling cold and even before she realized that she was shivering she felt a cozy overcoat around her which made her feel warm. They were sharing his overcoat, brushing each other, nudging each other. Making each other feel warmer. He stopped at the corner of the street near the bus station and turned towards her. He looked into her pale brown eyes. He failed to distinguish between her tears and the raindrops whereas she knew that the raindrops had covered his tears up. He held her around her waist, pulled her closer. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Their body touching each other's. She could feel something tingling inside her. He was firm and she could feel all the love in his dark eyes. His right hand raising her face up towards him, pulling her still closer to his chest with his left arm sliding inside her tee which made her feel ticklish. They came closer, knowing what was about to come, she closed her eyes, moving closer , waiting for his lips to embrace hers. She felt his nose touch hers as gently as they could, trying to reach for his lips, she tilted her face at an angle and felt his lips press against hers. Softly, gently, they bit each other's lips. His tongue took the move and made its way to her tongue. They held each other more tightly. Their tongue play around in each other's mouth feeling the sweetness. She started moving away. He tightened his grip further, pulled her lower lips with his and pulled her back. They breathed into each other till they gasped the air for oxygen. They opened their eyes. They could see the redness in each other's eyes which made the fact that both of them were sobbing, more visible. The bus arrived and she slowly backs herself. He kissed her forehead gently. She gave him a soft kiss on his left cheek and without even a whisper, she turned around and started walking towards the bus. Just before stepping on the first step, she turned back, looked at him and shouted on top of her voice, as loudly as she could, trying to make herself audible to him in the rain, "I LOVE YOU, and and I ALWAYS WILL, 'GOOD'BYE". He felt the lack of goodness in the 'good'bye. He knew they would probably never meet again, but still he screamed back, "I LOVE YOU TOO DEAR". They waved at each other till the bus disappeared in the fog and mist formed around due to the cold rain.
