It was the end of the day, and I had just walked home. I opened the creme door with a sigh and entered what i had called home for the past 3 years. I stood in silence confused for the lack of greeting, before remembering that my parents had said that they'd be working late tonight. They were both big shot lawyers, and wanted me to be the same.
Hell, they're even willing to pay all of my university loans.

That would all go down the drain when they found out that I wouldn't be giving them grandkids. I scoffed, and raked a hand through my hair.

I sat down on my sofa, and pulled out my rose gold phone. I began to text my mum.

  Heyyy mum
Yes honey? She replied shortly after.
I winced at the nickname and resumed texting.
What time will you and dad be home?
  Around lunchtime Tomorrow
  Oh...
  Is that okay, sweetie?
  Yeah.
  Whats for dinner?
Theres some casserole in the fridge, honey
  Thanks. Bye!😘😘😘

I put my phone on the counter carelessly, and rubbed my eyes as I headed to the kitchen. Another night alone, it seems.
