They're no longer suffering...

"OPEN THIS DOOR" A loud, an anonymous voice bellowed outside the thin wooden floor, it was obvious that the four sibling were inside, a locked door perfectly in line to be a bedroom... It had to be over right?
"YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS!" There it was again, the voice once more. Suddenly...
Silence.
"R-Raven?" Raven came out of the closet, stood on her toes and placed her hand on he leg of her sister. Theo's voice was timid and quiet, the man was still outside and a single loud noise could get them all killed...
BANG! The door was gone... Shattered and in pieces on the solid wooden floor out in the corridor.
"What do we have here?" The unknown man, dressed in black, his hood over his head along with jet black ski gloves covering his hands, he was that man Hunter talked about a lot! He had to be? The description matched perfectly... Their father had annoyed part of Hunters gang! They were all in trouble now!
Theo turned her head to the side finding a cold metal barrel of a gun against her bare skin beside her hair line.
"QUIT IT YOU COMPLETE IDIOT!" Hunter came out of hiding, screaming at his 'friend' at the top of his lungs. His throat became horse, his voice was croaky yet fearless. He wasn't scared, of course he wasn't, he was just angry and Hunter angry is very members of his gangs worst nightmare.
"S-Sorry sir!" The anonymous male whimpered, he was terrified... But Theo had just found out something new, Hunter wasn't just a member of the blood red. He was the leader and everyone feared him!
Hunter sprinted over to his 'friend' instantly he wrapped his arm around his neck, resting his shoulder under his chin. He pressed his face against the males ear "Jason, you make one more mistake and you will find yourself in a place no gang member wants to ever go!" He gritted his teeth at the end of his short, snappy speech. His arm dropped to his side as he climbed into the top bunk of the bed, kissing his sister, Ravens forehead. "It's okay sweetie, you're safe with me." He lifted his head away, sliding his hand through her long, brown hair.
"You love her!" Theo jumped beside the two, sticking her abnormally long tongue out at her brother, this seemed to not affect him in the slightest.
"Why wouldn't I love my little 'baby' sister?" I lifted his hand up to Theo's cheek, a loud sound was heard as Theo's head jolted to the side.
"You have to go and slap me don't you?!" She turned to face him once more, rubbing her soft hand against the new bruise forming on her smooth skin...
"Another bruise for the collection" Jackson raised to his feet, giggling softly at the mark left on Theo's cheek...
This wasn't abnormal, they always laughed at each others pain, apart from Raven. They treated Raven as if they were her nurse when she found herself in the slightest bit of pain. This was just the way the family showed each other the love they secretly shared.
