My friend kaitlyn is dating the school stud, possibly the hottest guy around. He treats her like a
queen, but last week it all changed when i caught him murdering one of the schools bullies. I
walk up to kaytlin to inform her,
“Hey Kaitlyn, I need to talk to you.. Alone.”
“Of course, what’s wrong?”
“I know you just got with Alex just last month, but i'm really concerned because i saw him stab
Billy last week.. He is a murderer”
“WHAT THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!” Kaytlin exclaimed.
“Listen to me, it was last thursday at 5pm. I saw it happen on the trail behind the school. We can
even go find it. I am telling you the facts.” I state this.
We walked to the trail after school and behold, there was Billy Thorns rotten body.
“Serves him right. He drove over my cat last week.. I cried all night to alex.” she said with tears
in her eyes.
“Maybe Alex was doing it for you, but in my own personal experience murderers aren't always
the best people to be hanging out with, wouldn't you agree?”
“But I can forgive him, a lot of animals kill each other, practically the same-”
I snap, “KAYTLIN YOU AREN'T GETTING THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD, HE IS A
MURDERER.. i'm sorry i had to yell but I love you too much to see you murdered by a stupid
boy. Please break up with him for your sake and mine, you're all I have.”
“Alright.. I'm sorry, i'll talk to him tonight.”
Later on that night Kaytlin texted me telling me she was about to break up with him, i tell her she
is brave and i'll be there for her. The next morning on the news i see Alex being arrested and a
name flashes on the screen in big red letters. ‘Kaytlin Romeo.’ She was dead, Alex killed her out
of anger that night along with 3 injured bystanders who had called the police. I sobbed and
didn't come to school for days, when i did go back i was lonely. I felt guilty, it was my fault she
died. I should have never told her to break up with him. The guilt has gotten to me, I found my
dad's gun. I'm going to see Kaytlin now.
