When Carl left ,Hershel came back and asked me if I wanted to come meet the rest of the group , eagerly I nodded. When I got up I realized Hershel was missing a leg , I decided not I ask , don't want to be to nosey.
We walked in the cafeteria of the prison , Carl was talking about how this prison is such a weight lifted off everyone's shoulder , ha I wish I could have a nice place to sleep and know I'm safe ..
"Hey I'm Beth! " A blonde teenage girl not to much older then me introduced herself witch I replied with a small smile and telling her my name . Next was her older sister Maggie along with her boyfriend who was Asian , then a older man named Daryl and a girl not to much younger then him a woman named carol . Last was Carl with an older man guessing was his dad with a baby in his hands
" Hi I'm Rick Grimes an this is my daughter and Carls sister Judith, nice to meet you , Delyla right? I nodded and smiled at the adorable baby Judith , but soon disappeared as I realized his mom wasn't here . But I wasn't going to ask . I also felt a pain Of jealously as how everyone seemed so happy here and they are not alone , they have family .
" So delyla how old are you ?" Rick asked
"Just turned 14 a few weeks ago ,sir " hey I know the world is messed up but I still have manners . But I guess my answer surprised him
" Your only 14 and you survived on your own ? " I nodded and he continued to ask questions
" Do you have a camp or anywhere to stay? I shook my head and looked down at my shoes ,witch was suddenly entertaining , but his next question , surprised me this time
" Would you like to stay with us ?" I suddenly looked up And looked at a smiling Carl behind Rick,but no I couldn't, I didn't want to be a burden to anyone
" I don't think I should " returning my eyes to my shoes " I don't want to be a burden to anyone , don't want to take any of your supplies or food ."
" Well I can tell you know your not going to be a burden but I mean If you really feel that way , you could go on supply runs with us and baby sit little Judith here " he looks down at her an starts tickling her gently an she squeals and starts laughing , then he looks up back at me "to make up for you staying here , plus I think Carl could use the company
I smiled slightly and looked up , looked at Judith, to the rest of the group who is smiling and nodding there head in agreement , then my eyes wonder to carls brownish hazel eyes witch are pleading , sighing I gave in " "okay you got your self a deal"
