Chapter 3

Simone POV

After the stage performance August invited me and Ayionna back stage. Of course I didn't want to go but I did it for Ayionna's sack .

" I cant believe we made it back stage , aren't you excited " Ayionna said as we walked through the door.

I honestly don't see why she is sooo happy . What is so special about this boy .

My thoughts were interrupted by a man , who looked like a security. " August wanted you guys to come with me " He said looking both of us up and down .

" I'm sorry but I don't know you and I will not be going anywhere with you . Tell august if he wants me he can come out here " I said sitting down at the little bar that was backstage.

" Come on Cece , " Yonna said pleading.

" No Ayionna , you don't know that man . And you want to go to him ? " I asked her looking at her like she was crazy .

My momma always told me NEVER to go with people you don't know . This world is TOO crazy to be following people to places you don't know .

I could tell the man was upset . But I did not care . He mumbled something under his breath and then turned around .

" What was that about " Yonna said stepping in front of me .

" Obviously you don't know not to go anywhere with strangers" I said as i order me a drink .

" Hello ladies " I heard a voice say . Me and Yonna both looked back to see August standing there along with the man .

" I had my body guard come for you guys but he told me that y'all wasn't having it.

August POV

" My name is Ayionna " this short light skinned girl said . " Hi " I said trying not to be rude .

Honestly , I wasn't even interested in ole girl. I was interested in Jania. That's the reason why she back stage right now.

" Ayionna can me and Simone talk in private please" I said to Ayionna trying not to be disrespectful.

" Of course" she said pushing Simone towards us . Jania then looked back at Ayionna " Go with him " she mouthed.

After 2 minutes of debating she finally agreed to follow me. " Right this way " I said letting her get in front of me.

Ayionna POV

" So what did he want " I asked Simone as I sat on my bed. I cant believe my girl got to talk to August. Not yet alone !! I was soooo excited for her and also me of course.

This can make me one step further to having a date with August.

" Nothing really " She replied as she pulled out her phone. " He gave me his number and told me to keep contact " She said looking down at her phone. I guess she was looking at his contact .

" OMG.. Are you serious " I said instantly popping up form the bed. This cant be happening . I thought this would have been a lot harder but I guess not . " How did you get it " I asked dying to know.

" Well.. He started to talk about high school and how we used to have some classes together and it instantly clicked that I knew him" She said .

" This cant be happening" I said in between breathes .

Simone POV

" No I can't give you his number but I can talk to him for you " I said gathering my stuff about to leave. It seems like ever since Yonna got those tickets for us to see August; thats all her mind been on . We never really talked anymore especially since I have other stuff to worry about on my own .

" Yea , girl I'll just text you " I said ready to end the conversation.

I walked out her front door heading towards my car when my phone vibrated. I quickly pulled it out to see August name.

August- Nice to see a familiar face. I will be calling you tomorrow good night beautiful.

I laughed and put my phone away . Hopefully this doesn't go the wrong way .
