The setting does actually take place in one general area. If you found this through the alternate universe or AU hashtags, then you've more than likely figured out that there will be universe travel. How this will occur is through the use of some entities literally showing and saying. "I'm getting bored of you here, go elsewhere," snapping their fingers and then POOF! new dimension, what to do?
The protagonists and antagonists will be conflicted, because one will act and the other will react.
