The Fateful Encounter

Chapter 2

Natsu's Pov:
   It was my first day of school. I was going to Fairytale High. I got dressed for the first day of school after I had taken a shower with hot water. I then ate breakfast and then walked to school. It only took me five minutes to get to school. I then walked into the school and went straight to the principal's office to get my schedule. I then walked out of the principal's office and went straight to my locker. My locker number was 60518 so I walked for a long time just looking for my locker. I was just glad that I came about an hour before school started. I finally found my locker and but the things I would not need until later. I then noticed that students were starting to come in so I was trying to hurry up so that I could find my first class which is History. I was just about to go to and look for the History room when I was about to turn around  I bumped into someone else. The boy I assume he was a boy by the uff he gave but I was not lucky because all of my papers and books had fallen. The books and papers were all over the floor. The I had said, " I am so sorry are you ok". He must have been so embarrassed because he bumped   into someone that was new to the  school. He then said, " No it was my fault I was the one who bumped into you so I am very sorry. Let me help you pick this up". I then said, " Ok if you are sure though I still think it was my fault". After the boy helped me pick up my books and papers he introduced himself, " Hello my name is Gray Fullbuster, by any chance are you new here?" I then introduced myself, " Hello Gray I my name is Natsu Dragneel and yes I am new here. Ummmm........ Could you show me to the history class please Gray". He said, " Yes of course I can Natsu but can I see your schedule". I then said, " Yes here you go". He looked at my schedule and must have saw something interesting because of the look on his face. He then returned my schedule to me and told me we had all of our classes together. I then gave him the brightest smile I have ever given to someone. He started to blush so he told me to follow him. Gray and I walked to history class together. When we got there we opened the door and I guess Gray went and sat down in his usual seat and then I sat down next to him. After a minute or two Mr. Right walked in. I only knew his name because Gray told me the teacher's name before we got to class. Mr. Right then said, " Class today we have a new student please stand up and introduce yourself to the class". I then  stood up and walked to the front of the class and said, " Good Morning my name is Natsu Dragneel," I then walked back to the seat next to Gray's and class began. Half way through class I had fallen asleep and after Mr. Right caught me sleeping in his class made me answer a question. Me being smart and all answered the question right and then went back to sleep and Mr. Right left me alone for the rest of class. By the time lunch came I was the talk of the class because to every class Gray and me went to I would sleep and when the teachers caught me sleeping in their class they would ask me to answer a question. I would answer them right all the time and then the teachers left me alone for the rest of the class. Well back to lunch time Gray and me went to the cafeteria and got our food and then sat down. After a while I guess they were Gray's friends came and sat down on the table Gray and me were sitting on. I got closer to Gray and I would be lying if I said I did not start to blush a little but only a little. Well anyway Gray started to introduce all his friends to me, " Guys this is Natsu Dragneel. Natsu these people are my friends Erza Scarlet, Lucy Heartfilia (Please tell me if I wrote it wrong again I would rather not be embarrassed by writing her last name wrong), Jellal Fernandes, and Loke Gonzalez ( Random last name same as the one from Chapter 1)". He then told them that I was new and I was happy to be here. I told them about my cat Happy and my father Igneel and how Igneel was not my biological father. I said that I never knew my parents and that Igneel did not adopt me until I was 3 years old. I told them my birthday which is June 1, 2002. I also told them how old I was, I said I was  14 years old, same age as Gray but we have different birthdays his was July 2, 2002. So I was one month older than Gray. After lunch we went to our last classes and then we went home. After school Gray asked me where I  lived. I said I lived five minutes away from the school. Gray told me that he also lived five minutes away from the school. He asked what way I took and I  told him I took the left. He said me too so then we walked in the same direction and realized we lived right next to each other. Meaning we were neighbors and then we said bye and went inside our houses.
